I liked the lawnmower at first when it came to DSPs daily shill segments in the edited vids. Watching the restreams though it became pretty cancer.

Favorites- Agent Proper, LSB, Soma Julius Cruz - his livestreams are meh, but I do like his edited videos and his thumbnails are hilarious - Based Ozlo, and GTG.
Least: Mannix. Used to like his content, until he decided to become a Last of Us 2 channel, talked shit about the detractors, along with hiding his DSP videos behind a paywall.

Anyone who plays sound effects over the content is unwatchable. Vault Boy and DarkDave come to mind. Soma Julius Cruz I don’t like for some other reason but I can’t place exactly what it is. I feel like he’s trying too hard maybe.
Snort Burnell now that she’s found her way after a few years has been consistently good although the repeated use of some clips is starting to wear thin (“oh my god he’s drinking gin” plays at least twice per video at the minimum)

Favorite: I think they all bring pros and cons, but I always liked the Mighty D videos. Snort Burnell makes me laugh, but it gets a little repetitive.
For restreams, I find Agent Proper and his Daily Nosis streams pretty entertaining. Haven't had a chance to check out An's stuff, but I hear good things.

I like anyone that has good, comedic timing with their edits, like Ludwig World Order and David Davidson.

My general rule with watching detractor content is: if the person speaking has a voice that's as annoying as Phil's, I'm not even going to bother. I could never listen to the SOK for this very reason.
Tevin was entertaining enough, but I didn't like listening to the donations. Hearing text-to-speech say "Wheelchair symbol" or "Star of David" 20 times in a row got ridiculous, especially during restreams.
The 0utsyder gets props for still making TIHYDPs, but I really wish they would learn how to trim the fat in them. Seriously, his DK 64 TIHYDP is 9 hours long. You may as well just watch Phil's play through at that point. 0utsyder's jokes get tiring really quickly as well. He uses, "IT'S THE JUGGERNAUT, BITCH!" in every single video...what year is it?
For one final channel that no one knew about, I used to watch Pyromegadeth when it was two guys, named Mega and Bucket. Their riffs on Phil's MGS and MGS3 playthroughs were funny. They also did a stand alone video on Phil's rage quit of Lords of the Fallen that was funny. Then Bucket presumably got bored of doing videos and Mega brought in a friend named Lich, a Canuck with a nerdy voice and autistic knowledge of every game Phil played. I stopped watching after that.
I also hope El Crimson King comes back one day. His stuff was gold.

I don’t see how anyone can watch An1337 or the appeal in him, he just sounds as lazy as DSP especially with his commentary like “come ahn” or “very nice” which, by the way, is a blatant carbon copy of Tevin’s dry sarcastic delivery. I don’t expect them to be ESPN sportscasters with their commentary but add something of substance besides “oh look at that” or repeating something Phil has just said in a sarcastic voice. I don’t understand this idea of copying someone else’s delivery, just be yourself and talk in your regular voice. An1337 just sounds like yet another fat, nerdy, pube bearded, “yeah I’m a gamer!” dude who tries too hard to be sarcastic and make that his entire persona. If you are a pudgy, nerdy guy and you laugh at Phil for being “fat” you have NO say in criticizing his looks.
Plus, and I can’t stress this enough, An1337 doesn’t know how to mix a stream properly. I will be listening in and Phil will be quiet, I’ll turn it up a little to hear his nonsense and then An1337 will come in with the Tevin “get em outta hereeeeee” or “it’s called store bought chicken, commahn, yaknow?” and it’s clipping with his horrid microphone. There’s a mixer AND a limited in OBS for a reason, use it, and that goes for all restreamers who add their commentary.
Tip: Set your levels for the source audio and then your microphone louder than that, then use a limiter. How hard is that?

Your audio will always sound like shit. A lot of these restreamers also do non-Phil streams and their audio is still shit. Do you understand? Phil automatically outranks you by actually having a decent microphone (AT2035) and a decent interface, regardless of the shit content that comes through it.

I agree his videos are way too fucking long now, but if I could apply a more good faith reason why they are that way; I think it's because DSPisms have gotten more and more subtle, so that what Outsyder considers funny and worth keeping in the video is more and more micro and thus it builds up into hours of stuff, whereas before you could focus on drunken rants, controller slams and full-on crybaby segments and you'd have 60/120 minutes of golden boulders stacked up into a comedy mountain. Now it's 9 hours of tiny comedy pebbles piled up into a boring hunk of shit.outsyders TIHYDP videos always feel like he makes them long just for the sake of being long. kind of like "look how shitty DSP is that I had to make this video so long LOL!" but in reality he leaves way too much boring useless shit in that should be edited out.
Outsyder needs to revaluate his methods. Pointing out very subtle DSPisms works for clipping videos that are short, but 9 hours of this kind of thing just blends together into what is practically just a typical DSP playthrough. All that's gone is the dead air.
his videos take me several days to go through and even then, they're part of the background noise while I do other things. I just finished rewatching someone else's Alien Isolation TIHYDP and that being 2 hours long would be 10 hours now if made by outsyder. If these videos are going to be as long as they are, then they need to be broken up into several pieces rather than just 1.
I don't watch all of his TIHYDPs, only the games which I'm interested in, and his DK64 and Crash racing one, he just kept things which weren't even cut. The beetle races in DK64 should've been edits of him dying a hundred times rather than 2 hours of DSP going through each race. Similarly with Crash Racing, he kept whole segments of Phil just replaying the race against Pinstripe in. The long length deters people while in the past, they were, as you said, just an hour to 2 hours long
An1337 does what he does for free, for his own amusement. DSP earns (demandbegs) thousands doing this and refuses to upgrade anything ever. He cited "business expenses" in his bankruptcy yet his set-up is worse than a lot of sub 50 viewer attendance Twitch streamers.
These two things are fundamentally different. Even if your set-up is a tin cup attached to a shoelace, you have every right to criticize DSP's dogshit set-up because he makes thousands doing this. What you're saying here is that if my kitchen is a bit messy and my cooking utensils are a bit rugged, I have no right to criticize the small business restaurant down the street for their shitty practices.
If An1337 used his streams to generate an income you might have the ghost of a point here, but he doesn't. To me the point of shitting on DSP was never that he's lazy/bad at games/had a shitty set-up/drinks too much/eats like a slob/etc because a lot of people do that, it's all of that in contrast to his rhetoric and flexing. He runs a potato stream as he promises upgrades for years on end while making 100k a year. THAT'S THE POINT.

My favorite detractor content had to be Dick Stroking Phil Vlogs. Have no idea what happened to them or if they changed channels but they only were around a short time. They'd edit him but it was a read between the lines kind of thing where he cut through the bullshit. Doesn't hurt he cut down Phil's hour long drawn out speeches to under 5 minutes. If you've never seen them check them out.
