Favorite: Probably the Man in the Pickle Suit. He's ridiculous even by Christorical standards and that's why I love him.

Honorable mentions for all the Nintendo trolls and any of the accidental Christorical figures like Michael Snyder or Mary Lee Walsh.

Least favorite: Idea Guys, no contest. Between the extortion and destroying Chris' sense of reality they actually hurt Chris, not just silly Internet antics. I get that police and prosecutors have finite time and resources but it's still disgusting to me that they were never indicted.

Dishonorable mentions: Jessica Quinn for being derivative and unfunny, and all the enablers for being unfunny and exacerbating the damage done by the Idea Guys.

I was really hard-pressed between three choices for favorite on this one: Liquid Chris, @Marvin, and @Alec Benson Leary. They're all fucking amazing, and represent the best parts of Chris trolling. Ultimately, I'm going with Alec, but there's an interesting thread between these three that I feel bears a bit of mention.

I've always been of the belief (and many veteran Kiwis share this belief) that the best Chris is, ultimately, Free-Range Chris: that he's at his funniest when no outside force coerces him into acting like a dumbass, and he gets into wacky adventures that may or may not involve clashes with law enforcement entirely of his own volition. These are where you get the most pure, undiluted, 100% uncut Chris, unmarred by notions of outside forces, just stuff like the GAMe PLACe, and his attraction sign incidents, and the Gamestop Incident that no one had much outside impact on. What made these three trolls stand out above all of the ones that followed is that they effectively leveraged Chris' natural tendencies for maximum effect, and all they really had to do was wind him up and let Chris do as Chris does. They weren't actively attempting to extort him or ruin his life or fuck with him too much, it was just doing things to get his goat and then letting everything run their course. That they happened to be things that no normal human being would ever take seriously is why they're as funny as they are. It's harmless shit, which Chris took entirely too seriously and absolutely lost his shit over, and that is exactly why it was funny.

Small wonder then, that the least funny ones are the ones that fuck with Chris to the degree where it stops being remotely entertaining. With Bluespike, you can at least credibly make the argument that at some level, Chris may have deserved it for getting baited so hard, but I will contend until my dying breath that the Idea Guys were not only the least funny thing to ever happen to Chris, but that they effectively have done more aggravated damage to Chris mentally, in the short time they were involved with him, than all his previous years of trolling combined.

What happened to Chris at the hands of these massive faggots was utterly unjustifiable. Blackmailing a mentally ill man into beating himself and his elderly mother, and doing so by psychologically abusing him is the work of a monster well beyond the ken of the cows we cover for entertainment on this site. But the damage these fiends did was even worse than this, because they did three bits of lasting damage to Chris that can never be undone. They left the window open for further shitheads to try to exploit Chris later, they permanently fucked up his perception infinitely worse than it had been before, and they made it so that from now on, we're always going to be wondering who put him up to his latest escapade. The very nature of Chris makes him hard, if not impossible, to feel sorry for, but that shit is sorely tested by the likes of those fuckers.

Actual troll with organized plan? I'd say Liquid just because of how outlandish it was. Chris literally thought a random YouTuber was trying to steal his identity, it was like something out of a bad Soap Opera.

Worst Troll was the Idea Guys no question. Assholes who stole from Chris and ruined whatever progress he was making in his life until they told him he could go live in cartoon land one day. Bluespike at least got some laughs with how Chris fell for obvious falsetto and actually drove to Ohio to rescue her from her evil twin brother.

My favorite in terms of content is Liquid Chris but in terms of reactions from Chris it's the pickle man. (I'll never not laugh when he says "The pickle man tricked me again.")

My least favorite has to be the idea guys. They are just a bunch of sad assholes who are way more cringy than Chris. Especially Joshua.

I'm not sure about favorite, as most of my favorite Chris antics are just the odd stuff he got up to without input. I'd say maybe Mary Lee Walsh because she was just some random community college head trying to do her job. My least favorite (barring idea guys) is each successive fake girlfriend. They get less and less funny until they are just unfunny parodies of themselves.

The worst ones are the ones who try to fuck around with Chris and break him, like BlueSpike and the Idea Guys. BlueSpike trying to make Chris into a pedofork (which is he is not, you DORKS!) put a bad taste in my mouth since that kind of fuckery can ruin someone's life. The Idea Guys need no explanation; they're just damn stupid.

Yeah. Alec basically asked chris repeatedly why it was okay to do things like parody and IP theft when chris did them, but not okay when other people did them. The only thing chris ever responded with was growling in constipated rage or saying "I can't think of an answer right now."

Otherwise, alec just behaved exactly like chris did, except he was polite and professional. He kept trying to get chris to at least treat the sonichu comic like it was an important project but chris just whined and said that if he made the comic his job that it would "cheapen it."

I think those calls were also where we saw chris really commit to the "I am the toon messiah" narrative for the first time. He said sonichu spoke to him while he was in walsh's office and say spunky skunk wouldn't want to be with megan, but with alec he stole Alec's characters and made them praise him like a god.
