I had followed politics from the time I was about 15. I was a democrat because my parents were. By age 16 I had read enough books by prominent democrats to realize that I wasn't one. I guess I'm republican then. Nope. By age 18 I'm a Ron Paul libertarian. That shit never went anywhere with Ron or Rand. Fast forwarding a good bit and I'm a nationalist. I can't remember the year. Now I'm being called a Nazi. Hmm whatever. In 2019 I totally give up. The system is rigged. Fuck it. In 2020 for the first time in my life that I've been of voting age I don't vote. 2021, where's my fucking $1400.

Fuck... even Trump has literally been in the squared circle; and his boardroom meetings easily had to be the equivalent of whitecollar boxing matches.
In any case, I can't think of anyone else as intelligent & willfully disconnected from politics, and also dedicated to doing the right thing. And him not being pushed into running against Trump in 2020 was a big thunkful for me, because I remember the left sure as shit were drooling over that prospect.
