I have noticed a trend of people who seem to actually be angry &/or disgusted by Christines personal choice of clothing and gender identity. Some people have stated that they miss classic Chris. This can be construed as just missing the classic aesthetic and hijinks of early CWC, but there are other who seem to be personally offended, or "turned off" by new and improved Christine.

I ask why? Is there a reason? Is it just a deep seeded personal bigotry against trans-minded people? Is it a fear of no longer being able to personally identify with our sweet precious OPL? Please help me understand this concentrated angst against Christines newfound persona.

I have nothing against trans people, I have a few trans friends myself. heck, I even have a friend who is a crossdresser. It's just that Chris, in his new form, is less funny. Nothing seems to wind him up as much as it used to.

I've seen this with a performance art/band I follow. One of the performers is MTF and has been actively transitioning for nearly a year, and she still gets hate mail saying "CHANGE BACK WE DON'T LIKE YOU OR YOUR CHARACTER FEMALE". I think for most people it's too much of a mental shift for them to deal with, so they try to deny it instead. In regards to Chris, though... I don't take it that seriously because he doesn't have the mental capacity to really understand what he's currently pretending is his true self. He never seemed to have dysphoria before, and you know if he'd had incidents in his childhood where he'd wanted to dress like a girl that he would have used it for pity points because of Borb collectively chewing him out for it. So tl;dr I agree with Marvin.

The biggest reason, like Marvin said, is people assume he's faking it for China. Sometimes people seem to lose perspective on just how unwilling Chris is to continue pursuing China paths that don't pay out quickly. He wouldn't have kept this up for years now if he didn't mean it.

I personally don't give a crap but for others I think part of it is how little effort Chris/tine/tina/tal is putting into it. Sephora make up with 5 o clock shadow, tight mini dresses that don't fit, birds nest bleached hair, MLP shades...I think considering how huge a transition it is for a trans person and how much effort and energy they put into it, seeing a internet 'celebrity' doing it so badly rubs them the wrong way.
That and people think its just for china. Which it isn't but the 'rubbing clits' talk really doesn't help.

I honestly don't think he's doing it for attention or for china; to me its obvious that cross-dressing fulfills a deep seat need within Chunky. Its the first thing I've seen him stand up for against both Bob and Barb.

The fact I find it hilarious is just a bonus. The fact he dress like a 60 year old granny on crack is icing on the cake.
