Why do some people such a vegans avoid eating meat? -

I like meat and find bacon yummy, and I like hamburgers, but I have always wondered why people don't eat meat? Are they allergic to meat just how people with Celiac's disease can't eat wheat or gluten?

If we stopped eating meat and only ate non-meat products it would create nutrition inefficiencies for people who cannot afford supplements, especially those with fragile homeostasis. It would also lead to most livestock populations drastic ally reducing so less life being created. also, related to inefficiencies in nutrition, we wold consume more in terms of veggies and there wouldnt be enough for us all
