Why does anyone trust Nick Rekieta's law opinions? - the real life Lionel Hutz is finally being called out!

For anyone that doesn't know who this guy is, here is a compilation of his best moments, (in animation form!)

While that is a slight overexaggeration, from Weeb wars onward, every time he's given his hot take it always seems to turn out wrong. I'd rather trust Maddox's lawyer than him, and yet every week he gets thousands from idiots on youtube to read out their superchats and comfort them about how stupid their enemies are to take them to court. So why does anyone still trust this guy? he's the Baghdad Bob of the law world

I'd buy that if he didn't sell himself as a smugly right about everything.
Fair enough.
I fell off Weeb Wars after the depositions because that was kind of the peak, but I still enjoy Rekita's interviews and such.
When it comes to actual legal stuff, he's pretty good at explaining legalese and what it's actually like to deal with police and other lawyers. Hot takes, not so much.

You're asking a rhetorical question, but probably because he has an actual law degree.

The Ronversations were great, but personally I'm waiting for his new Russell Greer stream. Apparently he has something juicy but is waiting for the right time to bring on a Greer-historian (that a thing?). I hope he hasn't forgotten tbh.

The guy verifiably has a law degree. That's more than I can say for most people who discuss the law on the intertubes.

Law Degree, is current practicing attorney, and intakes clients that he does work for.

He knows 'mostly' what he's talking about, if not he does a bit of research before the stream and then gets drunk ranting about shit on the internet.

All in all 10x better than Judge Judy.

While the weebwars stuff got old for me a while ago, I still watch the occasional Nick stream. Don't think anything will really come of Vic's courtroom slapfights but Nick Himself can be a funny drunk.

Reminder that Nick's rich parents don't trust him to not drink away his inheritance so they mete it out to him in a monthly tugboat via Ty Beard.
Lol - not gonna comment on whether or not his parents trust him or not, but trust funds are an excellent way to transfer funds without the associated fees taxes etc.

Bill Gates was still on his trust fund set up by his parents as he made billions.

He has the transcripts when Russ threaten to shoot up his high school that everyone thought were sealed. He's waiting for that one women that he use to read the transcripts with him during the Swift lawsuit way back in the day.
