Why does Chris hate Harry Potter? -

Why exactly does Chris hate Harry Potter, and why does he think it's the antithesis of Pokemon?

This one is simple to answer:

Chris loved Poke'mon at a time it was hugely popular, but then Harry Potter arrived and the kids moved on to something else. Chris, of course, stayed with his POKEYMANS and resented the fact that people were interested in something else.

That's literally all there is to say about this.

Chris is barely literate, so Harry Potter is way beyond his reading level and comprehension. Because it was really becoming popular at the same time Pokemon was at it's height he came up with the bizarre excuse of it taking away fans of Pokemon. It's really the same reason why he hates XBox: he can't have it/understand it, so he's going to hate it and come up with a bullshit reason (if that) as to why.

You gotta remeber this is Chris we are talking about,he pretty much sees the world in black and white there is no grey area for chris. to understand how chris works you have to think simply kind of like an animal (not A-logging).Love and hate, straight and homo, gal pal or troll. there is seriosly no grey area for him. and on top of all that he has a huge ego.He cant think "well yea i like my ps3, but xbox probaly has some good games too." he thinks "i love my ps3 so that must mean all other consoles are shitty". Its all absolutes with Chris, so going by that logic he loves pokemon therefore, he hates harry potter. now you may ask "well why dosent he hate digimon or some thing similar to pokemon?" well, because he didnt see a huge fan base being broad casted on the news for digimon, he saw a huge fanbase being broad casted for Harry potter( like when the new harry potter movie comes out and the news shows the huge lines at a theatre) . so he sees this huge fanbase and in he thinks "i bet there are some pokemon faans in that crowd...wait a second how can they like harry potter and pokemon at the same time!? well i cant like two things like that so that must mean no one else can, so that means that harry potter is taking pokemon fans away!" and that, in my opinion is why he hates harry potter.

Chris's hatred of Harry Potter is a combination of several things.

1. It became popular around the same time the Pokemon fad died out.

2. It was popular despite the fact that Chris wasn't interested in it.

3. Chris really hates it when things he's not interested in are paraded where he can see them.

The reason he went after Harry Potter instead of Digimon was simple--Chris was interested in Digimon, so it failed to meet conditions 2 and 3.

It's because he never did one, single, quotable thing. Memes are summed up by a brief quote or single image/short video, where as Chris had an entire series of sagas that require fairly intimate knowledge of to know why they're funny. Probably the closest he'll ever get is that picture on the MTV show.
