Since I'm a homosexual pinhead I can say that I get more girls than Chris, I actually don't care about size since I'm a fatty but people say I have a personality so my food crimes are forgiven ((and I lost twenty pounds over the past four months I win the weight loss contest Chrissy)). But even though he always whines about how he supports women's rights he honestly does not know how sexist he is. I think it's because, as has been said, Chris sees people in terms of TV. In his own mind, he is the long-suffering perfect hero, who should naturally get the hottest chick in the movie. He simply has too much ego to consider anything less than the best, until the low hanging fruit actually appears, anyway.

Alternately, he realizes on some level how overweight he is, and doesn't want to find himself confronted with someone who he recognizes as fat, and being bigger than she is. But I don't think he looks that far ahead.

Like a lot of idiots he thinks he's "owed" an attractive woman and a happy ending, just like in the stories. Not a terribly uncommon idea (See the Loveshies, "Nice Guys", etc), but being autistic, knowing next to nothing about the world, and having parents that never told him that it was bullshit, he took it way too literally. So, you wind up with some idiot that makes signs but no effort in personal grooming, but has unrealistic standards.
