Why every celebrity has the same identical political opinion - Trying to make sense of celebrity lolcows

Trump's Chosen

One actor I found cool is Dennis Quaid. The guy is a registered independent. He talks about how he's voted for both sides in the past. Yet never talks about who he voted for in the past.
For celebrities, that probably means he is far right and mr Quaid probably intends to start the reactor as soon as possible.

Well, like I said thats probably true. As I said before he is going to play Ronald Reagan in the movie Jon Voight is producing and directing, which he is excited for. He also praised Trump's Covid-19 response.
All of that pretty much implies. He's probably right-leaning.

So why isn't anyone punching the guy?

Well, he doesnt talk about politics alot. In the past he always mentioned about being independent and voting for both parties in different elections. That's pretty much it there.

The Ronald Regan movie is being produced and directed by Jon Voight, a actor known for being conservative.

And his praise for Trump's Covid Response happen during lockdown, so Hollywood couldn't do anything to him then.

I think it's becuase he's a well known B-list actor and a Hollywood icon. They can't do anything to him at this point. As he's been in a ton of movies and made a name for himself.

Also he seems like a pretty nice guy. I can't ever recall hearing him in any sort of scandal or anything. Plus he showed himself to be pretty brave in the entertaining film documentary The Day After Tomorrow.

It's very simple, because they it's the easiest business move to do. I wouldn't be surprised if at least 60 or 70 percent of celebs don't care about politics and crap but you gotta look relatable to the "public" (a.k.a 30 year olds on twitter) somehow.

It's very easy to be all inclusive and loving from behind a gated mansion. But there are probably a lot of Hollywood people out there who are either right leaning or centrist they just don't want to deal with the bullshit, why lose your extremely comfy lifestyle when you can just tweet some bullshit hashtag every now and then that will inevitably be lost in the sea of same tweets?

Speaking up about political issues divides your audience and in turn, lowers your income.
It might provide you with short term benefits but long term, it will hurt your career.
Maybe this is why Taylor Swift still has fans, or maybe it’s because the audience is young and unaware of what goes on in the industry business.

Theirs still a few actors i like that I don't know where they lean. But thats more becuase i stay away from their social media accounts.

Also I thought it was neat to see actress Jen Lilley surpport Obamagate. I know she not a well known actress. But I watch a Hallmark movie when I was bored once and she was in said movie. And i liked her in that movie.

Also she comes off nice in interviews.

It's probably all about making money and getting the media more power. Modern music, movies, and TV shows are all marketed towards more internet-savvy nu-people who are more likely to be of an alt-left political inclination. Hiring content cows that mirror their money source's political opinions raises profits and has the added benefit of control since their customers now think hollywood is on their side.

Left-wing ideologies/politics appeal more to the emotional side of human beings rather than the systematic ideas of the right-wing. Actors are inclined to be emotional beings in order to act, therefore they naturally agree with ideologies that are considered to be more emotional rather than rigidly systematic.

Hollywood is socially left-wing, but right-wing economically. These people will say any left-wing idea they want that appeals to the emotions of people just to rake in more money. Hollywood may spout socially left-wing ideas (some that even sympathize with the plights of communists or whatnot), but they will certainly never be communist or socialist in any way whatsoever. They always do it because of financial gain and nothing more. Promoting ideas that normalize the degenerate groups in society that always are likely to consume anything that comes their way is good for the grotto.

Elaborate on this?

And even then, well fucking shit. What fucking happened to parlay us into the madness of today?
I agree with @Getting tard comed. Have you every looked up a bunch of old actors from the 50s and 60s alot of them were Republicans

John Wayne, James Stewart, Donna Reed, Fess Parker, Jane Russell, Ginger Rodgers, Bob Hope, Gary Cooper, Walter Pidgeon, Gene Autry, Fred McMurray, Maureen O'Hara, Eva Gabor, George C. Scott, Lucille Bell, Desi Arnaz, Dick Miller, Fred Astaire, Ernest Borgnine, John Gavin, Glenn Ford, Tab Hunter, Jock Mahoney, Margaret Hamilton, Fred Rodgers, Robert Laggia, gleen McQueen.

Also Ver Miles who played in Psycho, (who is still a live) is a Republican .
Same as Janis Paige

Also Frank Capra and Walt Disney.

Heck there's a lot of TV actors from the 70s, 80s and 90s who later came out as Republican.

Hollywood wasn't always completely Liberal

Stanley Kubrick was also kind of conservative too.
