Why is it considered a bad thing to call out lolcows and their behavior? -

We're forced to read things like "The Scarlet Letter" in high school, trying to convince us that we're not supposed to label people for their own behaviors. We're very much living in a post-community world, and with that, we don't do things that the community at large should do, like keep people living in a way conducive to the continuance of that community.

You can literally get away with anything nowadays if you just act nice or have the right opinions on the surface. Believe me, I'd like for more people to actually have consequences for their actions, but we have to act like no one has agency any longer, because everyone wants to be a perpetual child with no behavioral corrections in sight.
This is because of the overall course that society is taking. Don't just look at lolcows. Look at how people in general are being socialized, and, indeed, oversocialized. Not as cohesive groups with their own interests - ethnic, familial, or otherwise - but as atomized individuals who have been stripped of their identities and trained to rally around ideology and branding. Every step of the way, they are presented with social landmines that invite them to vegetate and navel-gaze rather than actualizing themselves. After all, why risk your precious status? Look around you. How many things can you do or say, in this day and age, without getting canceled? How far has social media extended the reach of peer pressure to conform to a broken system with inhuman norms? This inward pressure on people's minds inevitably leads to outbursts of frustration and helplessness coupled with displays of disgusting vanity, and other people celebrate that vanity, reinforcing it.

The Elites want to make a Global Brazil. Homogenous from one end to the other. No identity except what you consume. They have caged the human psyche, and what does an animal do when caged long enough? It starts drooling everywhere and chewing on the bars. People are becoming cows not because they have too much freedom, but because they have too little. For the powers-that-be, the ideal man of the future has no ambitions, no testosterone, wears striped socks, grabs his ankles, raises his legs in the air in total submission, and shows his butthole on OnlyFans. A fucking caged zoo animal. Such an individual can never be a threat to the system.

This freak show was no accident. It was deliberately manufactured.

Yep, and there's really no place safe. I've done as much to say that I live in a very tiny town on here already, with an extremely low population. I've already seen this exact thing happening here. All the local stores have closed, people are literally petitioning for a super Walmart to replace the old, small version, and people recently voted in allowing sales of liquor, which immediately caused a drive through liquor store to open in the middle of town. Even people here, in the middle of nowhere, stopped talking to each other and live via Netflix or Twitter or whichever other addiction they stumble across. Social cohesion is nearly impossible to find, and believe me, we tried to find a place to move that still had a semblance of it.

Even the old timers are rude and misanthropic now, preferring to clam up and avoid social interactions except for their small, chosen groups, typically the 15 people from their church. I can't say I know that it hasn't always been like to this to a degree, but it's awful now. The types of "judgements" that do come from people aren't the right kind, they're more petty and banal.

Hell, there are two open furries and a kid with a trans flag patch attached to everything he owns in a town of less than 2,000 people. No one cares. Their parents are just as shit and detached here as they are in the rest of the country.

The reason why a lolcow continues to stay one is because they bring drama to themselves. Outside unwarranted interference muddies the waters and merges the line between being a drama whore and defending yourself from "nasty trorrs." The majority of Chris Chan's adult life had a hell of a lot of interference that went from being funny to downright fucked up. That kind of influence may have been a major contributor to his current schizo delusions today, and ruins the cow.

Your alogging is not funny. You are not funnier than the cow. You are not more novel or interesting than the cow, or else you would have some avenue and audience to make jokes grander than calling Chantal a fat drooling retard in her own thread. Everyone should remember these things when posting in their threads

The cows are the talent. Let them perform, let the peanut gallery chatter about the performance, let people find the content and bring it to light - you're an uninteresting heckler at best. Aloggers are a blight.

The true and honest answer is that nobody irl actually gives a shit about who you are, what you do, or what you're like as long as you're not an open and unrepentant racial supremacist or child molester.

It is not a bad thing, but constantly spending your time on this type of "hobby" is unhealthy. You should also remember that the "lolcow" term is relative, you can tape this word on anyone you personally don't like, even if the guy/girl the users make fun of isn't really a bad person. This is why some people are unhappy with this forum, but that of course doesn't change the fact how the Internet is full of genuine ugly people who are applauded by the social media for doing sick, horrible things. Just remember what's wrong and right and don't pay attention to those who defend shitty people.

On the second thought, there might another reason - in the eyes of the public cows aren't sick degenerates, leeches or attention whores, now they are "weak" and in the mentality of modern society weak should be protected. There is nothing wrong with protecting the weak, but this miscategorization creates a fertile soil for all kinds of dangerous enabling. I mean, now there is a featured thread with a munchie, who is going to lose her legs and for years people were listening to her bullshit instead of calling her out. Also, modern society is built around the "needs of the few", like there is one troon in a school, but all school has to tolerate him visiting a wrong bathroom, etc.
This exactly. We live in what I call a “culture of empathy” where people tend to place a high social value on the idea of hardship and having to endure it. Those who have endured some kind of hardship are not only automatically given more respect than those who haven’t and assumed by default to be morally better people, you’re also expected to go easier on them and give them more leeway in just about everything or you’re considered heartless.

People with lolcow tendencies tend to abuse this greatly. They emphasize their (often self-inflicted) problems as a way to deflect attention from their horrible behavior, and use it as a cudgel to beat their critics over the head with. It’s basically the old “You wouldn’t hit a guy with glasses, would you?” trope in action.

Stop being a pussy and stand your ground on your opinions and move on. Everyone who has a dissenting opinion is a pussy and runs to places like Kiwifarms and ED when they get scared away by the Troon mobs (who are easily disarmed because they all hate themselves.) Or they just enter a shouting match with the cows and white knights accomplishing nothing.

And if you're looking at stickers or Reddit Karma to validate your opinion or stance on your own fundamental beliefs then you're just feeding into the faggotry that's destroying our society.

At the end of the day people follow by example they are not just going to listen to someones sperging and change their mind. So if you want shit to change you have to start living by the standards and beliefs you want others to live by and set an example. If you stand your ground against degeneracy and dont get into spergouts others will follow.

Because cows are surrounded by people who support them and do similar things. If you call one of them out publicly, they all get enraged and look for whatever faults they can find with you as a way to deflect. Often you just sharing a screencap of something written by the cow is made to seem a million times worse than what whatever awful thing the screencap proves. They are also afraid the same thing will happen to them and so know they have to support whoever is near them to increase the chances that they too will be shielded when their awfulness is exposed.

What this means is that you have to have a sizeable following or some sort of positive public recognition for call outs to work as outside of KF and similar sites, as people seldom look at anything objectively.

Lolcow behavior is called out sometimes, in r/raisedbynarcissists types of places but even then people complain that those around them offline gave them crap for calling out and/or cutting off their abusive families and partners.
r/raisedbynarcissists has very strict rules about not allowing narcs themselves to post, has a much higher density of cow/narc victims than normal, but also is mostly about boomers who can't use the internet and the mods don't allow identifying information so everything is more vague.

The people complaining about posters going NC are likely to have very little experience of this kind of abuse and so just can't understand the situation.

Conflict avoidance in higher social mammal species is important because injuries in the wild can easily end up killing one or both parties of any violent conflict. Most respective social mammal species have evolved complex signaling for resolving conflict while minimizing the potential for injuries, with humans being the exception to this rule among the great apes.

If you can walk outside your home and people know who Chris, DSP and Tommy Tooter are you need to immediately move.

But I don't believe this is a thing.
Tommy Tooter, no. DSP, usually no. But living in a college town with a large arts community, basically everyone under the age of 30 seems to know Chris.

because calling out lolcow behavior irl means that you will 1. be ostracized for being "negative" and 2. that you cannot engage in lolcow behavior yourself without looking like a retard. people are absolute fucking babies, that's why.

Most people are lazy, don't know a lot about someone, don't believe a lot of it, or have a parasocial relationship with someone that makes them believe they know who they really are so even if it is true it's momentary or was a forced error.

So then they see someone being obviously mean. Mean with a purpose but still mean. It's not a mystery why they dislike that. I've had sympathy for cows a few times only to learn more that they don't deserve it.

And nobody trusts the internet as a community square for good reason. Hester from Scarlet Letter would be viewed differently if instead of a tight knit community trying to survive a brutal foreign wilderness, a situation where trust has to be insisted upon and the consequences are abundantly clear, who became mysteriously pregnant but was instead someone with an instagram account who was engaged in one picture. Then ringless in another. Then in a picture with another man whom she knew while engaged. It's possibly innocent in that latter case. And remember, people don't care to find out someone they like or think is being picked on actually deserves it.
