Drug cartels are pretty much the new set of government all throughout Mexico and South America due to socialist policies; Middle eastern countries have the most degrading aspects of islamic religion ingrained within every aspect of their lifestyle (i.e Sharia Law, religious vigilantism, hatred of the west, degradation of women etc.); the Chinese don't know how follow the most basic human health protocols which is killing most of its citizens; UK, and Germany are putting people in jail for wrongthink along with mass migration and Africa's underdeveloped state in which other countries have to step in and have to save it. I know the United States and Canada aren't perfect, but at least their chaos is controlled in a way compared to these other countries.

How did all of these issues come to be? Do these areas of the world even have the ability to salvage themselves or will they further devolve into destruction?

200 years ago 100% of the world was a garbage can. Then the westernized world discovered germ theory and people started to wash their hands and bathe more than once a month.
