Because the French rejected God.
Null's theory that they are competing with the British to prove that their country is objectively worse has a lot of merit.
They're an innately revolutionary people, and Paris has the same issues that any other huge city filled with tourists does. Being dirty and disgusting is one of them. They're far closer to Mooslim countries and import a lot of "diversity" which is passionately terroristic. Combine those two and you get a lovely shithole.

Seriously, it's like 70% North African at this point. Last time I visited, you couldn't go a block in the tourist areas without tripping over half a dozen Africans hawking plastic Eiffel Towers from blankets laid out on the sidewalk.
