Why Turn Everything on the CWC Forum Into Containment? -

I've noticed that many popular subjects on the CWC forum get lumped into Containment threads. Most recently, many of the Pmurt threads got lumped into a CWC vs Trump Megathread. Why do this? I could understand condensing some threads down to prevent clone threads, but it seems to kill specific discussions about possibly important moments and make everyone'should comments get lost in the void if only one thread is allowed per broad subject.

Those threads are terrible and almost never include new CWC content, which is the main reason why I visit that forum in the first place.

Summarily: "Hurr durr Chris is autistic lets talk about how autistic he is" = NO
