Why was Megan friends with Chris? -

Probably initially a kindred spirit. They were around the same age, both social stragglers who played card games, and they just hit it off based on a few conversations at the Game Place. I could even see Chris as being endearing in Megan's eyes, the big weird dude who draws comics and likes girly anime. She probably thought he was kinda funny at the time.

As for eBay, it's been discussed over and again, but she probably just unwillingly took advantage of the situation too much.

I find it quite difficult to read the Megan emails because of that. It's like watching something terrible happen in slow motion and you can't do anything to stop it.

I doubt she wanted him to spend any money on her, because like I said before, some guys think if they spend money on a girl that they're entitled to china. From everything we know about Megan, she had absolutely no intentions of giving Chris china.

The only real comparable interest was Yu gi oh. Chris adapted Megan's interest into Sailor Moon in order to impress her with the developing interests and knowledge he had in the series, And I use the term knowledge very loosely. I'm also surprised that he didn't get into some of the weird German shit that she was into.

As for the eBay thing like everyone saying I highly doubt she was even thinking of using eBay from Chris when she was getting to know him. Chris probably kept insisting to buy shit off of eBay for her, and Megan unknowingly took advantage of that, not being used to having guys buy stuff for her, and didn't know not to ask as much.

In fact, she apparently had to be homeschooled because other students treated her badly. So she probably didn't have many people who she could talk to. Of course, Chris mainly hung out with her because he wanted to screw her (which is honestly one of the things about fatty that piss me off the most). Part of me also thinks she may have connected with him because in a way, she understood what Chris felt like. Both of them were fairly awkward, had weird interests, and had difficulty forming relationships with other people. She actually seemed to genuinely like chris, and for some reason even tried to make their friendship work when Chris started his Mr Badtouch bullshit.

But personally, I'm glad she ended contact with him and managed to make new friends at the game place. Now she's in a happy relationship with a man who seems to make her happy, and I wish her the best.

Funny isn't it, how Chris is now throwing a pity-party for having fake friends who didn't care, and the only real friend he had who seemingly did care ended up hating him, because all he cared about was getting into her knickers.

My friends and I have had plenty of guys who wanted to befriend us because they wanted to have sex. I don't see how it's a huge deal, just saying.
