I know there's already a Dumb Shit on Wikipedia thread where people post really ridiculous articles that are on the website and I love that thread too, but the focus of this thread is going to be different and focused on the many kinds of spergs that have caused trouble on Wikipedia over the years, not counting former Wikipedia spergs like Mark Bernstein or people like Ryulong or Sarahlicity. Some of these people are best to talk about within a thread like this rather than having to make threads on every single one of them.

One of those spergs that came to mind recently was one by the name of Boaxy who appears to be an obsessed Sailor Moon autist that got his ass BTFO of the website. WikiInAction had a whole thread that was created by them where they rant about being banned from the Sailor Moon article on Wikipedia. I'd have to say the chimping that came from this page was really funny. It was one of those spergs I got told about in a PM.

Possible aliases for this cow are Boaxy, Nonoko, and maybe JazzyFusion. It is possible the Boaxy/Nonoko Sailor Moon wikisperg is unrelated to the JazzyFusion reddit account, which could be a troll. His Wikipedia account was previously " Big Brother IMDB Plus 2" but it got renamed for violating the policy and he chose Boaxy.

I wanted to look further into this cow's pasture but am not having much luck, don't think he uses the same user names everywhere, surprisingly. He supposedly should be on Twitter, YouTube, Total Drama and likely other wikias (especially Sailor Moon), and IMDb at least. He is, allegedly, a gay, ex-Muslim, Christian, atheist, autist, African-American in his early 20s who was planning to kill himself in junior high but didn't because of Sailor Moon.

The reddit account appears to have been made so he could whine about CSU Long Beach not offering free wifi. In this thread he claims to have been at CCLB and living in Westminster and was "giving himself a tour" of the CSULB campus and he went "and inhabit into a vacant liberal arts classroom" and tried to mooch off wi-fi. Boaxy isn't the only big sperg that I can think of from Wikipedia. There are ones I've been aware of for years like MascotGuy that have lengthy Long Term abuse pages like this one. His powerlevel is Derek Despie and he has an obsession with editing a lot of cartoon pages and making tons and tons of socks. He has been verified as being autistic himself and I remember that his mom supposedly spoke out a few times somewhere. I am sure @Vitriol might remember too.

WoW was one of the most persistent and inventive vandals Wikipedia has ever seen. I don't think it was ever determined if it was one person, or a gang or copycats or what.

It was tedious to deal with but... mostly harmless as these things go.

One of the struggles, for me anyway, was that his(her? but probably his) vandalism was FUNNY. The example image in question details is a good example... replacing the globe with his old time car image was hilarious. His vandalism wasn't malicious (some vandals change dates subtly which can be hard to detect, or put "fucker" in front of the president's name, or what have you) it was just in your face... replacing the entire contents of an article with "willy on wheels" over and over.

Willy was very good at finding ways around blocks. But over time, as the automation has gotten more sophisticated, his vandalism lasted for shorter and shorter times.

They just recently global banned Kumioko/Reguyla after he was pissing off wikispergs on Meta. He already was indefinitely blocked on the English Wikipedia, but he doesn't care.

Your claim that The Washington Post (a major metropolitan daily newspaper) is biased while The Daily Caller (a noted right-wing house organ) is not, is a rather classic example of projection. Not very high-profile and not completely unhinged like some, but I like JorisEnter for his strange autistic obsession with using what he perceives as the "correct" usage of various honorific titles in infobox templates (e.g. position of titles, comma's, issue vs. children, etc.). He's been manually "fixing" these since mid-2015, leading to various sperging about in on his talk page.
