If Boaxy thinks he's going to get the last laugh with me, he is sadly mistaken. He brought this shit on himself by attacking me and not cooperating on the Sailor Moon affair last year. I did nothing to deserve being called homophobic for disagreeing with his stance on Sailor Moon and he knows it. He obviously deserved to be banned for not learning his lesson from his SM topic ban (which I enforced because nobody else would). Rules apply to everybody, regardless of whether you're straight, gay/lesbian, bi or trans, and you can either accept the rules, or go away.

Here's my theory (from experience editing).
Think of an autistic paradise, and that's pretty much Wikipedia. There are Rules (which are very important to autistic people), and you can get rewarded (adminship, other rights) if you fight others to support them. You can make articles on your favorite things, and those can be recognized (Good Article status). If you wrote an article, you'd feel protective of it. When someone comes in with a different opinion, you can use the Rules and your rights to "prove" them wrong. What can you do, other than argue them down (at least in the autistic mindset)?

Not sure, could be the fact that even making edits to the website and understanding their ludacris "policies" which read like the US tax code almost makes having autism a literal requirement for being an active contributor.

I'm an actual autist, diagnosed and all, and even I think you're not only autistic, you deserve to be called an autist even if you aren't, because doing what you just did was so painfully autistic it's facepalmingly embarrassing.
