It's inevitable that Chris will eventually give up on anything that fails to deliver him a boyfriend-free fuckmother who will solve all of his problems and take care of him forever.

Chris has indeed lost his faith in God:

You can get the full story there. TL;DR God plays Kick the Autistic because Chris is 31 and doesn't do anything to make his own life better.

Are you asking, then, whether Chris will stop believing in God completely? Somehow I don't think so; he believes that God exists, but he's lost faith that God will pull the strings to deliver to him a boyfriend-free girl.

Essentially while he still believes that there's an omnipresent being watching over him in the sky, he thinks that omnipresent being is trolling his entire life.

Boyfriend-Free FuckMother needs to be in the word filter for sweetheart. That's just the perfect euphemism for it.

There was a thread a couple months back about him jumping ship from Christianity and taking up Wicca. He seemed bitter towards GodBearJesus and wanted to torture LEGO minifigs representing God voodoo style because he felt like God had welshed on his promise of giving him his very own Boyfriend-Free FuckMother to provide his duck some tom-tom to pound without having to spend his tugboat monies on a prostitute.

I imagine Chris unquestionably believes God exists, it's just a case of whether Chris is happy with God's performance or not.

He's a witch now.

But it's debatable if he even had real faith to begin with seeing as he viewed god and jesus as magical gift giving genies. And he views the congregation as his personal army/sweetheart search accomplices.
But since he realized that none of that is true, he just views religion as a waste of gas.

No, I do not think he has the critical thinking skills to question God's existance, but he might switch faiths, or come to deism.

I love that Chris thinks he has a right to judge God, when the bible Chris claims to read says God is the only one who can judge anyone.

It's a possibility. It just depends how much worse he perceives his life to become. Chris considers himself helpless, and his response to people failing to help him is usually anger and spite. He's lumped GodJesusBear into that group of uncaring Corrupted Citizens because, well, his life.

If I was Chris I wouldn't believe in God either, because being born Barb's son is basically hell.

Yah, I think it would be impossible for Chris to conceive there is no God or Jesus (although there's still plenty of bears). It's kind of like his views on Santa Clause; he says he "learned Santa wasn't real" when he was 21 or so, but still hoped Santa would bring him a girlfriend for several years after this. Once he believes in something I think it's borderline impossible for him to let that go, as can be seen in pretty much all of his other viewpoints of the world.

Chris will always believe that God exists, because if there was no God, who would hold up the sky and keep Bob's house in heaven from falling on our heads? Since that hasn't happened, obviously there is a God.
In his mind his place in Paradise is already secured due to his distinguished history of door-holding, so he's pretty much paid up for life as far as God's concerned. If God won't drop some womanna from heaven, there's no need to actively continue the relationship.

Not unless he finds some sweet hardcore atheist china. I think a better question is will Chris' faith ever evolve or change. Will he always think of god as a bearded genie or will he ever ponder what god is or anything more in depth or will it always be mom and dad said god works like this and it has to be.
