it's very obvious if someone has been banned. we don't ban people for no reason. they have behavioral issues.
I mean that, won't they come back to this board and shit it up? I don't know if an IP ban doesn't allow them access to the site even if they don't have an account. When I was banned I didn't try to come back so I am not aware how it would work

Bans can be applied to accounts or IPs. If a guest is disruptive they can be IP banned.
I don't necessarily consider it a bad thing for banned users to be quarantined to a specific board imo. They're kept in a locked off section of the forum, you can limit them to not being able to PM users, post on profiles or enter chat and they are less likely to make rival forums to post their inane opinions on.
The only real downside is that for the most problematic users, people from here would still choose to interact with them.

If A-Stump or Obamatron makes a guest thread about Null being a piece of shit, I don't see why anyone should care about it.
