But do you think that this tomgirl thing will be permanent or will could chris go back to old stripe shirt medallion wearing self, and if so what could cause this to happen?

Utter rejection by the LGBT community and China that's basically promised but only for a "Manly" CWC. Unlikely to happen.

It's been five years. His commitment to femininity has just strengthened over time. He's not really a "tomgirl" anymore, which would be a feminine male. He's come to realize that he has a "female soul," and is therefore transgendered. I personally believe this is just an extremely weird step on Chris' path to finally realizing he's gay, but that's just me. He may stall out here, he may finally come out as a gay man later. I think the removal of Barb is going to be the turning point, either way.

Chris seems to be very well accepted/tolerated there, even if his new "friends" are hanging out with him out of pity, it's still leaps and bounds over the "acceptance" he got at the Game Place(through his own actions, deservedly). This is also why he's unlikely to change out of it : he's getting enjoyment out of social interaction he never really had before. His 'past life' (the Gal-Pals) turned out to be a lie, so for the moment the LGBT community is all he's got.

Welcome, and like others said, it seems pretty permanent. If you look through his life, he does hint a lot at being more feminine over time, and tomgirl was just something that was waiting to come out for a long time, but also since he wasn't well versed in LGBT until a few years ago, he didn't know too much about it. If he would have, he might have started tomgirl earlier.

I am in the minority that probably thinks it will stop or at least be put on the backburner soon, but he will probably revisit it in the future.

I predict a large dramatic event involving a feud with 'real' trans women that will result in CWC being completely shunned by that community. While we and some other forums/image boards follow him, I still don't think he is noticed by actual trans groups very much (or is simply mocked off and on). Given his propensity for blowing things out of proportion and causing problems with people who call him out on things, I think it is only a matter of time before something goes wrong with this chapter in his life.

If you've seen how Chloe Sagal and Brianna Wu had their 'friendship' sour very quickly over transwomen drama bombs, imagine how bad things could get for CWC if he ends up with a rival transwoman in his life (made a lot worse by the other trans actually being attractive and passable, potentially). All it will take is one event like that against someone that has a large social media following and I would bet CWC either goes into hiding for a long time or he just drops the tomgirl stuff entirely. Then, years down the road, he might start doing it again.

So my guess is not in regards to whether his tomgirl mindset is legitimate, it's more based on him ruining himself in the communities, just like he's done for gaming, MLP and a bunch of other stuff he's tried to be involved in. And obviously this is assuming he doesn't end up in prison somehow over the pepper spray incident.

There is evidence that Chris hated his own gender long before the start of his transgender shenanigans and that he repressed it for years before coming out of the closet (so to speak), so this is probably not a phase but the "real" Chris. Plus Chris is obsessed with getting china and knows that women typically are passive in courtship, hence why he religiously sticks to his tomgirl-lesbian persona : it's much less work for him to do and it justifies his total lack of effort or improvement. So it's highly unlikely that he'll ever revert to his clown-shirted internet circus freak self.

Here's what you gotta know. Chris definitely has gender issues. That's a for sure thing. Is he actually a woman inside a man's body? Maybe, but more of anything he's a child in a man's body and that's how you should think of him first. Chris wants to be a woman, but what he thinks women are may not reflect reality. Part of it is he thinks women want to be infantalized, which is the way he wants to be treated.

He is pretty much a huge emotional pussy. He can't stand up to confrontation, life challenges, not getting his way. Pretty much the only time he's confident is when he's on the otherside of a camera. He hates other males because he views them as competition. He wishes he could be the only man in a sea of caring women. Wearing womens clothing is comforting to him. But he only seems to need to do it up to a point, which is why he half asses it. He genuinely thinks he can be accepted as a woman cuz of what LGBT propaganda tells him. He doesn't actually realize that no lesbian would want him even if he were passable.

Is he doing this for pussy? Probably, but he's also doing it cuz he's huge pussy and can't fulfill any of the expectations of male gender roles. He's also too stupid to see any grey area inbetween rigid definitions of male and female, which is probably where he actually lies.

Even if a 'real' trans woman says something to him, Chris will pull something like "hmph, saying I'm not a REAL trans woman, just because I don't have the ability to lose the ugly growth. Who are YOU to say how much of a woman I really am!", and move on, continuing to be tomgirl.

@Jace E. Denton Your not on your own, I think this is a thing for him that won't last for ever but he is happy doing it so I'm not going to jude him on that (it's nice seeing him happy for a change).

Don't get me wrong I think he has some gender issues rattling around inside that autism riddled sack of misfiring synapses that passes for his brain, but he isn't trans and this is a phase he is eventually going to move on from. If he is still doing this in 5 - 10 years then I'll happily admit i'm wrong and buy him some lego.

As @lipitor said, he is essentially a Child in a Man's body and he is playing a prolonged game of dress up in a way to avoid growing up and this is a way he hopes to attract China because his idea of sex is heavily influenced by Porn and all lesbian's are just waiting for the right duck to come along.

I'm reserving judgment until Chris sees a psychologist or a psychiatrist. I think that it's just the autism instead of gender dysphoria, but Chris's upbringing was so slipshod and sexless (in the gender sense) that the latter may be obscured by the former. That said, it wouldn't surprise me at all; even 'real' (I hate that term) transgendered folk exist in various stages of transitioning for years despite being able to advance to the next one. Abandoning a part of your identity is one of the scariest things that humans can do and most people will take their time unless pushed externally. And we all know how super-attached Chris gets to the past.
