Shocked. As Shinoa would think.
Oh wait someone already said the motive. Oops.So "Kiwi Farms"?

Guess he spent his camera budget on that RGB keyboard.
Sofa king legendary.
You're right, but a lot of recent killers weren't counting on doing more. They go into a place, kill people, and are done with it with their own suicide. Shooting up a crowded open-air concert venue or killing a bunch of elementary schoolers doesn't take much strategy or luck. And look at the Texas church shooting--this year between that and the Vegas shooting shows that if go into a crowded place with little security, you can rack up insane amounts of dead and injured. Look at FuckYou's favorite ED page, the High Score count--Vegas shooting is #1 all time in the US, and Texas church shooting is #5, each happened within months of each other. The Columbine kids could've done far worse since they originally planned to bomb the school. And the fuckers literally planned on doing 9/11 since they thought they'd escape the school, shoot cops along the way, go to the Denver airport and hijack a plane and fly it into a building, not that their fantasy is any bit realistic. Eric and Dylan were fuckups, they couldn't build pipe bombs worth shit or else they'd have easily killed twice as many people. Columbiners like Atchison here only exist since the media and politicians covered the shit out of their shooting.
And Bill Atchison thought he knew all that. He wrote all those ED articles on shooters, and spent years of his life obsessed with them. He played Hatred and other alleged "murder simulators". And he failed miserably. Maybe he really did intend to kill himself in front of a bunch of high schoolers and not hurt anyone else. But look at how he described his family and the town he lived in--he was one of those utter failures at life and didn't even know it.
I noticed hardly anyone has moved to remove it despite this being a BLP article and Wikipedia hating direct links to forums that a news article didn't proxy source.
Isn't it about a dead guy? Why would it be a BLP article?
People who are like this are usually focused on their own ego more than anything else. They aren't smart enough to pull of this sort of stuff most of the time, so you get your people arrested for planning a massive shooting spree on a public forum, or showing up without bullets, or only hitting 2 people. It's more about feeding their own ego, making sure people notice them. People indulge them, and then we get another TV special, "why are their so many shooters" followed by their photos an monologues about their life for the next hour. Oh gee I wonder why.

People trying to edit the page might be getting blocked for some odd reason. Any indication some Wikisperg with a grudge against us might be involved with keeping the page that way despite not being proper under wiki policy?

Doesn't look like it so far, the page hasn't been hit with a semi-lock nor does the page history show any admins dick waving.
I'm several pages late but the september 11th 1981 date is actually a reference to dylan klebolds actual birthday, he wasn't doing a 9/11 joke, he was just showing off his columbine obsession.
The Daily Beast said:On Kiwi Farms, a forum that describes itself as a place for “gossip and exploitation of the mentally handicapped for amusement purposes,” Atchison frequently posted commemorations of mass shooters. Two days before his own school shooting, under his username “Fuck You,” Atchison posted an explicit sexual reply endorsing Lindsay Kantha Souvannarath, a failed mass shooter from Halifax, Nova Scotia. (Atchison used a photo of Kiwi Farms administrator Josh Moon as his profile picture for Steam.)
