Their rules page is particularly depressing. It enforces systematic pitying and self-loathing while banning advice.

3. Do not disparage, advise against, or show contempt for the celibate, NEET, or reclusive lifestyles.

Like, if they take their own rules seriously, even posting "I dated once and it was a really bad experience" or "I had sex and it wasn't all that" would be bannable.

Some interesting threads include:

• A person who is socially dysfunction due to an overwhelming dislike for buttons on clothing.
• A person who says they would not date because they have an imaginary Anime girlfriend and cannot leave them.
• A person who becomes angry when people talk about their relationships.

All of that found on just the first page.

What concerns me is how popular these services are becoming. Even if people don't directly affiliate with being "love-shy", there is still this huge movement of people who are resigning themselves towards being subhuman. They completely forsake any sense of happiness in favor of self-pity and make no effort to improve themselves. There's stuff posted like this which reinforce the idea that doing anything to help ones self is pointless because women are selfish and evil regardless.

A few years ago I had the thought that human evolution was going to be stunted because natural selection has become moot in the modern age, but now I see.
