There's two kinds. Those that want or would like the idea of escaping their forever alone hell (or have already), and those that are so bitter they'd rather play fox to the figurative female grapes for the rest of their lives. Both groups find the other insufferable.

Wizardchan was around before incels were really a thing, and they watched the very earliest incel communities form around completely insane, hateful and bitter people like Marjan Siklic and they took a hard pass on it. Incels want to rage against the system, wizardchan people mostly just want a corner to be left alone in.

I stick to /jp/ but I get a laugh out of it and when they're morose its still chcukleworthy, in my estimate most of them have accepted their lot in life which pacicifies them to a degree.
