A lot of people have been asking for this thread, so I figured I'd make it.
What is "Art Twitter"?
Art Twitter is a name given to the large subcommunity of Twitter dedicated to sharing and discussing various works of art. It has more presence in fandoms, especially internet-famous ones.
So what's so bad about it?
Most drama and discourse on Twitter is perpetuated by woke (usually western) artists and their followers. These people make up the larger part of Art Twitter, and are the reason for it's bad reputation. Whether it be social/political problems, cancelling, or general MATI, many creators feel the need to contribute to these happenings, usually embarrassing themselves in the process.

This thread is for the discussion of smaller, like-minded users and cult followers (and the unbelievable autism that comes with it).

- If they're white they will find ways to make themselves oppressed, play white savior, and villainize marginalized people who do not agree with them
- White e-artists are known to brown wash themselves in their self-portraits so they can appear racially ambiguous. This also can apply to any e-artist who is light skin (Peachieflame)
- If they're nonwhite they'll complain about how much they hate white people while simping over white characters and actors (and most likely, they're irl partner is white).
- Shoves their fetish in their everyone's face and when asked to stop, they will cry bigotry. This is especially the case when the e-artist has a bimbo fetish, fat fetish, or if they're a trans or femboy chaser
- Self-diagnosed with ADHD, autism, DID, and/or BPD
- Mentally stunted adults who act like the same 14 year olds they make fun of
- Posts art once a month and spends all day shitposting on Twitter because they're unemployed or a college student
- Will attack other artists unprovoked and create callouts for the pettiest shit
- Grifts off projects that will never see the light of day but is praised for being progressive
- Always has bad takes because of a lack of understanding or willful ignorance. Will insult followers who disagree with their takes and bully them into unfollowing
- Acts like NFTs are the end of the world and thinks anyone who sells NFTs are Aloysius O'Hare from the Lorax
- Constantly spamming their ko-fi pages so they canbuy anime figurinespay their bills
- 'Fixes' other people's art and characters without permission
- Tweets about how exploitative capitalism is but is a K-Pop stan and/or plays gacha moba games with no self-awareness
- Retweets gofundme and ko-fi links but never donates
- Harassers mutuals if they're following anyone who is 'problematic'
- mlm, wlw, nblw, nblm in bio
- Daily temper tantrums over problems that they cause
