It's not that male lions are lazy, they do hunt. The females just do it more often. The male's primary role in the pride is to protect their cubs and fight off intruders, as well as surveying their territory. The reason why lionesses hunt more often is because they don't have the liability of a huge, thick mane holding them back in the hot African sun. It's like wearing a thick scarf in the desert. Male lions have a very hard life actually, their major cause of death is infected wounds received from rival males in fights to the death. Either way, they are not to be trifled with.Lions are actually pretty chill. They're widely regarded as one of the least aggressive predators around and are somewhat more easily trained, but it's commonly thought that this is because male lions are hideously lazy, and the female lions are either away hunting or are too tired from hunting to chase you down unless you do something to piss them off. I mean don't get me wrong, they are still dangerous and you should absolutely not treat them like they're a fucking kitten, but they're not like most animals where they'll charge at you just for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
That is not a wolf. That's just a typical German Shepherd, you can tell by the longer, slightly pointier ears and closer-set eyes. Still a nice breed though.
