So anyone else see this yet? If so what did you think?

I thought it was a perfectly fine film, some cool action, great acting from all mostly (the villains having a cartoonish giggle together during one scene made me cringe) and most of all it had focus. Last 10 minutes were a little silly though.

Did you like the part where WeeWoo threw a fucking tank using only her wrists as leverage and it looked cartoonish and hilarious? I couldn't stop laughing.

Yeah, because it was so fucking ridiculous! Just like when she punched out that belltower being used as a snipers nest!

It kind of made me appreciate the film a bit more really, comics aren't meant to be realistic, they're meant to be fantastical, so why not the films too?

I guess I just thought it looked awkward and stupid. If she had shifted her weight a little bit, it would have played a bit better to me. Not for the sake of realism, but because it wouldn't have seemed like a fourth wall breaking joke from a cartoon.

it reminded me of that bad CGI in Lord of the rings when dude jumps on the cave troll. it stuck out.

I don't know if DC movies have just lowered my expectations that much or what, but I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. Sidenote: really good date movie.

I've heard it's not bad but seeing it means paying DC studios something and I honestly think buying meth is a more socially responsible investment of my money.

Yeah, this is what's making me hesitant to go see the film in theaters. I'm probably better off pulling up Kodi renting it from Redbox when it comes out at this point, but it's not a priority of mine at the moment.

It makes more sense to give them money when they make good films. That incentivises them to make more good films, instead of more Batman V. Superman.

Not bad at all, I was actually pleasantly surprised with it. I didn't like the other recent DC films, but this was actually pretty nice. The humor was well paced, the relationship wasn't shoved down your throat and felt comfortable, and the acting was pretty alright too. I liked every side character except for the native american guy, he was a little boring, but everything else was good.

However I think they dropped the ball on the moral and ending in general. Not gonna spoil certain parts, but I feel like it should've been about you not being able to fix war in a day, because it's way more complex than that, instead of "beat bad guy and everything is ok".

I have a generally more negative take on the movie than the rest of you it seems. I think it started off well enough, but it devolved into kind of a clusterfuck towards the end. I stopped caring by the last third of the movie.

I especially think their take on the greek pantheon was pretty retarded. I fully expected them to take creative liberties to fit it into a superhero movie, but even Disney's fucking Hercules had a better grasp on greek mythology than this movie did. It doesn't even make sense in the context of a comic adaptation since she literally gets her powers from the gods if I'm not mistaken.

I thought it was pretty decent. Better than the last couple of films DC put out at least.

Diana's idealistic nature and naive worldview kinda got grating after a while, but considering the context of the film, it makes sense.
