The book, Mommie Dearest, from the movie Mommie Dearest.
Christina Crawford intended her memoir to be a story of Joan Crawford being an abusive parent. The movie took a campy role and portrayed Joan Crawford (Faye Dunaway) as a crazy, short-tempered lady.
I say "worst" because neither the book nor the movie have anything in common. Both Christina and Paramount exploited the original intent of it.
Feud's casting of Joan Crawford during reshoots of movie scenes.
This has nothing to do with Jessica Lange as an actor or even her PERFORMANCE. She played Joan quite well. Her facial structure doesn't match that of Joan Crawford I noticed. It's the eyes.
Now let's compare it with Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis.
It's more 1:1 than Jessica Lange. They both have good chemistry, it makes you wonder how did they execute two bitter actresses with a petty rivalry.
in the best redesigns thread i praised DMC5 for having a better character design that its sequel, so since i'm a fair man i should also point out how exponentially worse the area design has gotten
in this aspect DMC4 aged like the best of wines, the architecture is nothing short of beautiful and even if the game is 13 years old now it's still aesthetically pleasing most of the times
meanwhile the majority of DMC5 takes place in generic urban areas or unremarkable endless roads of rotten flash
even the dreaded reboot has some scenes where it looks impressive, with all the scenery corrupting as you get closer to it
The grave buster from plants vs. zombies. In the first game it looked like a demonic tree stump that grinds graves with its tooth-like roots, in the sequel it's a goofy pile of vines. My only guess is they changed it because they felt like the original didn't really resemble a plant, but it's still disappointing. View attachment grave buster.png
