Worst type of Gaming Reviewer on Youtube? -

For me, it's the two extremes of game reviewing. One is basically the AVGN wannabe: one who swears a lot, lots of vulgar humor, screaming, yelling and toilet humor, without any actual reviewing. The other extreme is the droning, pretentious drivel of a reviewer who explicitly goes through every point and detail about a game. It's even worse if that review goes on for way too long, sometimes for 30 minutes and especially terrible if it's over an hour.

Any reviewer that falls on any one of those extremes annoy me.

I tend to hate most reviewers they are all shit in their own way. I tend to only like the "reviews" that are secretly a highlighted lets play like tehessnakerer the best are when they play just bizzare/wonky game no one really talks about. I say the type i hate the most are "Consumer" reviewers. They all have the same opinion that they steal from reddit and if opinion changes on the game then they will post a video saying "I was wrong about (inset game)" or "(insert game) is actually a hidden gem"

As a rule most youtube reviewers are terrible.

Wannabe game devs whose videos amount to the earth shattering point of "The first pit in this platformer doesn't kill you so you can practice jumping", "hand holding tutorials bad", or "in this adventure game the devs made this door look unique so you'd remember it when backtracking".

the avgn ripoffs like chris bores and gamedude fell out of fashion a long time ago, now there are the jontron rip offs that still use random access humor and editing styles that stopped being funny in 2011, and they all have shitty cartoon avatars in every thumbnail

Ones that are clearly just rip-offs of other reviewers. The ones I see getting ripped off the most are AVGN, Yahtzee, and Doug Walker. AVGN for the anger. Yahtzee for the format, and Doug for the skits.
I personally love the AVGN, mostly out of nostalgia. I keep up with Yahtzee and think he's actually good at what he does. Doug is an re.tard and hasn't been funny for years.

Case in point Razorfist (whose in denial he's a contrarian fuck) and Noah Caldwell Gervais (who called FEAR sexist and Postal 2 an Asshole Simulator)

I think Razorfist is a decent political commentator but with the exception of when he's talking about a series or genre he's particuarly passionate about... He's a lousy game critic

It used to be the AVGN rip-offs who I just couldn't stomach. But ever since Screenwave fat fucks took James' channel over and basically turned it into some kind of Redlettermedia/Jontron without any of the charisma, I've developed quite a bit of disdain towards the lol so random reviewers with eye cancer ADHD editing and godawful forced skits.

CleanPrinceGaming and co. are fucking terrible. He uses hyperbole every sentence and ultimately comes to underwhelming conclusions with no original substance. I also suspect he's Nerdstalgic, who does the same bullshit but for cartoons.
