Would Spank A Senator Day make Congress more accountable? -

Last night my friend came up with an idea for a new Holiday called Spank A Senator Day. On this day the members of the house and senate would go back to their districts to get paddled with a damp hickory cane by everyone in their district. The point of this holiday would be to remind Congress about who was really in charge and why they should work hard not to screw up. If Spank A Senator day were passed would it help make Congress more accountable or would it cause problems?

Maybe. Ive also often thought the old roman idea of warrior politicians should be brought back. Everyone who votes for a war must also fight in it. I imagine there would be a lot less wars if these corrupt fucks had to actually go there themselves.

Spank a senator day is once every 6 years. You're supposed to spank them with a stick called "Voting for someone else" but sadly few people take advantage of this.
