I never liked pork either, but then I went overseas and discovered that American pork is vastly inferior to other countries' pork, on account of American pork husbandry is still behind the rest of the First World countries in surgically-facilitated hormone control.

The earlier you remove the gonads from a slaughter pig, the less time its meat will spend being ruined by those natural hormones which give the meat an awful taste. In America, our pig farmers' micro-surgery skills are somewhat lacking, so they have to wait until the pig is already half-grown before the gonads are big enough for an easy surgical removal. In other countries, they have much better micro-surgery skills and can remove the tiny gonads from newborn pigs right from the start. Their pork consequently tastes very clean and stinkless, since the hormones only had the briefest period in which to ruin the meat.
