If you could murder a random person and in return be paid 1 million dollars, would you do it. You would also get off and not be arrested for this murder.

Not some innocent person or a friend. If they were scum, sure.
I was gonna say, "You know what, yeah I probably would"--because Im thinking of it like assassination. I had the same limitations sbconsciously as what you wrote but spelling it out gave me a little pause because Im like, yeah I wouldnt kill an innocent person, some rando walking down the street, or any family or friends. I wouldnt be doing it out of malice or spite or hatred, where it comes to form me is that, are there any truly innocent people? I mean everybody is scum to somebody. If they gave me a story about why so and so deserves to be killed, and said they would pay me for it I would be more accepting, but then you get into if the story is true or not which is another layer.

Maybe in real life, the situation would be different if I had to actually pull the trigger, and it was over something stupid, then I would probably hesitate.

The thing is, like, with hypotheticals, it doesnt mean shit. It's easy to say "Yeah Id kill so and so," or "No I would never kill anyone" but it doesnt matter until it comes time to pull the trigger. Tons of people say they would never kill anyone and yet there are still murderers. There are people who have killed people and gone to court and their defense is "I would never kill a person, Im not a bad guy." It's kind of a loaded question.

EDIT: Sorry I thought this was the deep thoughts zone, not the shitpost one. Pardon the :autism:.
