We've all heard the A-Logging and all of the reasons in the universe as to why Chris is a bad person.

But still, here we are for five years, still talking about him, picking him apart to see how he ticks, and obviously missing him very much because he's a one in a billion kind of guy, and we don't want to admit that he's going away, his life is miserable and decaying, he'll never be the same again, and he's raised the bar for lolcows so high, no one will even compare.

Chris brought us smiles, laughter, and joy. He was fascinating. Some people would say "at least I'm not him", and I pity those people. For one thing, not only is that pathetic, they're also missing the point. Chris exists to be fascinating and hilarious, not to make you feel better about yourself. He's a distraction from all of the mundane boring shit, something truly weird and new, even with his Sonic recolors and unoriginal comic. There was still something /different/ about his.

If you went to school with him and had information from the future that this awkward little clownshirted weirdo was Da Big See Dubya Say, you'd probably be friends with him just to have a good look at him, and maybe a glimpse into his mind and life. Probably shield him from bullies and later on, Julayfags, so as to keep his ego nice and fat, the way you'd shield your garden from bugs that tried to eat it.

I'm assuming most of you would.

So anyway, enough rambling. I'd say I like Chris, obviously. Same way I like The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Of course he's no role model or an admirable person in any way, he's something else entirely. I think most people were drawn to him by his innocence, and how it was weirdly combined with perversion, and some other things.

I could never hate Chris. All of those years of smiles and laughter! He truly is a gift from God.

I don't either like or dislike Chris, honestly. The things that he's made public and the things he's done, though, are fascinating, kind of like picking at a stubborn scab or watching a train accident in slow motion. I follow Chris because of the community that's emerged around him. We all sit here, laughing at things he's done, wondering what caused him to do it, offering our advice and our armchair analysis into his psyche. I don't believe that such a community exists for anybody who's not a politician or a celebrity. Christory is certainly a first.

I get the impression that if I ever met Chris in person that I'd probably find him annoying, though.

I don't like Chris, but I do find him hilarious. And somewhat dangerous too, after what he did to Snyder.

I like studying him, obviously. I like that he's given me something novel to do for years, and brought me into a new community of friends I would not have found otherwise.

But I don't like him. He's not really likeable at all.

I don't mean I hate him or anything. He's not a monster. But he has no likeable traits as a person. He's self-centered, he lives in a delusional state, and he's incredibly boring. He's an awful person and it would be impossible for anyone to ever like him in his present state or maintain a friendship with him.

Don't like the A-Loggs (especially the ones pretending not to A-Logg, you know who you are), but nope, I don't like him. I honestly pity him, though.

If anything, I feel bad for him. Years of Barb's induced learned helplessness have made him a strange, repugnant man. She's the only one who will ever have influence to better his life, and she's not going to do that, effectively dooming Chris' life to be miserable and lonely.

I don't hate him and I don't dislike him, but I wouldn't say that I like him. I like reading about him, but I don't know that I'd really like to spend time around him or read about him or see his antics more than occasionally. For me saying that I like someone means that I'd actually like to spend time with them and I don't want to spend time around Chris, not even if it meant I could create my own saga.

I second this, but maybe I just want to at least say thank you to him for making my life better.

The best word I can use is "conflicted"

He's greedy, lazy, egotistical, racist, chauvinistic, selfish, and often just plain dumb. But really, these are just words. They don't give an accurate picture of his rather unique personality.

But then he's had an awful upbringing though HE may not feel that way. Instead of taking the edge off his autism, Borb's parenting has honed it into a needle sharp point. I simply can't think of a worse way to raise an autistic child that the way Bob'n Barb did.

When it all comes down to it, I find him fascinating. His unique ability to take a normal situation and turn it into a spectacular lulz-worthy show is incredible.

Same here. I don't hate him. I pity him, but at the same time I look down on everything what he is. He's more like a train-wreck where we, the spectators, just watch and react to. I will admit his existence, itself, did bring some of us here like how spectators huddle around an accident.

And... HI CHRIS! :pickle:

Were he not so spiteful and hateful towards people who have done no wrong, I would likely be rather fond of him. If he was just some human cartoon character with delusions of grandeur, talent, and magnificence he would be entertaining to be around. However his repulsive actions and words against people whose sole "crimes" are either not obeying Chris's demands to be above basic decency or the law, or existing in a manner Chris finds weird or "icky", all mark him as a class A cunt whose sole redeeming feature is that he is comically inept and idiotic

I don't really like him, but I'd probably hang out with him and play vidya with him if I met him IRL and he didn't think I was a DANG DIRTY TROLL. He needs all the social interaction he can get.

He's pretty boring, though, and we don't have much in common, so we wouldn't be friends even if he did behave himself.

Like most people, I'd rather watch him from a distance, and since we're hundreds of miles apart, we probably won't ever meet.

He's a fascinating study of bad genetics and upbringing. I definitely don't hate him. But I don't like him. Liking him suggests there is something likable about his personality and there isn't.

I keep forgetting about him deliberately hitting Snyder with his car. Oops.

I do know he's incredibly boring in person, and for me that makes it a bit more interesting how...interesting he is. Who'd have thought someone who only wants to talk about widdepigbwanket or mawnashun wafers would be so impossible to not obsess over?

If I could tolerate his BO (Or knew him before he got a hobo stank), I might just approach him and say hi now and then, ask him how he's doing, if he were working on Sonichu comics I'd ask to see them and encourage him. And try to steer the topic away from American Rabbit or things like that.

I have a hard time hating someone who made me laugh so hard.

This. He's kind of like a real life cartoon antagonist in that you can be kind of a fan of them, but still they are completely unlikeable.
