XMR wallet won't sync -

Every time my Monero GUI wallet syncs, it will suddenly go back to syncing (saying that there are n daemon blocks remaining, with n being 3 a few hours ago and 21 as of writing this) even though the CL clearly shows that the daemon is fully synced. It has been doing this all day with both local and remote nodes. How do I make it stop?

Sorry if this is the wrong board for this, I just figured that it would make more sense here than on the Tech board (as this is where most crypto discussion on the site takes place), even though this is a technical and not financial topic.

How do I make it stop?

I had this issue a few weeks back, it eventually just stopped on its own. I don't run the GUI wallet constantly though.
I realize that's not a particularly satisfying answer.

It fixed itself. I just had to uninstall and reinstall the GUI wallet and then restart lol

in order to solve this issue i'll need the 8-12 word pass phrase given to your wallet. this is how kiwifarms IT identifies your wallet to fix technical issues.
