Yahoo Answers will be shut down forever on May 4th -

I was pretty sad when I saw this. I remember trolling the shit out of people on Yahoo Answers when I was a kid. The only domestic Yahoo product/brand left that's worth a damn is Yahoo Finance (and even then there is plenty of competition that functions basically the same), so I won't be surprised if Apollo ends up killing it off of ruining it once they finish buying Yahoo from Verizon.

What else does Yahoo even have anymore? An email service that no one uses except the people who signed up for it 20 years ago, a web portal that no one uses, and a rebadged version of Bing. The only place the Yahoo brand is even successful anymore is Japan, and Yahoo doesn't even own that - SoftBank has total ownership.

I wish then SoftBank buy what's left of Yahoo...
