He's just an SJW bitch who blocked everyone who supported Jason denouncing Yaniv. It came up in the OP archives actually. Stephie denounced this Miki woman as being a TERF who should be blocked, Jason told Stephie to fuck off with policing Jason's language, and Stephie said he wouldn't give more time to talking to Jason. But it appears he's back.
Wow, just when someone thought J. Yaniv couldn't stick a foot into the mouth any deeper, we get proven wrong with this slapfight. As others have already posted, Jason Jones knows more about real discrimination and oppresion associated within the LGBT community in his home country than Yaniv ever will. in short, Yaniv may have finally squawked at the wrong person.
That said, Jason probably doesn't care about Yaniv specifically; the pair had one very limited interaction at a party where Jason most likely tried to be polite to Yaniv as an event attendee with no intent to endorse Yaniv's stance in the BCHRT complaints.
What Jason probably cares about is his reputation and image. He's done a lot to help LGBT people that live in places where oppression and persecution are real issues. Yaniv has done nothing to help anyone other than Yaniv, and Yaniv's internet presence and prejudiced comments do nothing to help Jason and would only serve to make him look bad. Therefore, it's reasonable that Jason would want to make it explicitly clear that while he did in fact meet Yaniv, he doesn't endorse Yaniv or Yaniv's behavior in any way, shape, or form.
Unfortunately, anyone that misgenders Yaniv on social media gets a one-way ticket to banned account city. So, addressing Yaniv as Jessica and with female pronouns is the most viable option. Further, @Smiling Honeybadger is right that Jessica would parlay any post including msigendering to further the narrative of being a poor misgendered and misunderstood woman. More on this later.
Quite frankly, Jason's emphatic disavowal is refreshing to see and is what many people here want to see from the LGBTetc community in that Yaniv's behavior does nothing to advance transgender rights and is more about selfish reasons than it is about trailblazing . In all honesty, people who discovered someone with a sleazy internet footprint claiming some sort of positive endorsement from them would want to disavow the person and nope the shit of that connection as swiftly as possible.

Oger using "up front" is a bad choice of words seeing how he was anything but while initially white knighting Yaniv. As others are quick to point out, Oger's disavowal of Yaniv was soley for political and personal reasons/benefit, otherwise the white knighting would likely continue.
Opinions may be expressed, but only if everyone else agrees. Small wonder so many people are deleting their social media account or locking them down and posting to them as little as possible, lest someone take issue with the most innocent of posts and opinions.
Two key reasons why this could be a bad idea:
- Yaniv would parlay any sort of confrontation as further proof of being a poor oppressed transgendered woman who only wants to be treated equitably.
- Any such confrontation with Yaniv would only serve to harm Jason's own reputation. Why would Jason want to take a rather significant reputation hit by stooping down to Yaniv's level and engaging the latter in an offline slap-fight?
