If the string of lies about medical conditions continues, I strongly believe that JY is going to try and sue a paramedic for malpractice. If he IDs himself as female to canuck 911, those poor medics are either going to be walking on eggshells to avoid a discrimination suit or treating him as they would a female patient and risking malpractice suits. It's no different than people who lie about medical diagnoses and cannot receive proper treatment because of the medics' concerns of medication interference. Name changes are slightly more forgiving from a medical standpoint if every document has been converted to the new name and the patient's contacts are aware of the new name.

a lot of the time it's confusing how the troons want to be handled by doctors. On one hand a bunch of the activists lament the lack of health services for troons, but then some of them insist they be treated medically as the gender they identify with, not the biological sex they are. Then there's the ones that want to be considered the gender they identify with but want the health care of their biological sex. All that confusion could be avoided if they just admitted what biological sex they were up front. Buuuut nooooo, transphobiaaaaaa...

When I went through my course, someone asked how we should handle that situation. The answer is always tell medical control their biological sex and if the patient has undergone HRT or GRS. If you are unsure and the patient is unconscious, you're fucked. Hopefully you have an emergency contact or info card to rely on. No one cares about your pronouns if your heart is failing and you're bleeding out, but if the patient has a psychiatric issue it's best to just use whatever they want to hear.

Nah man... He’s not getting off scot free. Literally nobody are sitting back after the show thinking “Gee, I wonder who wrote those messages then?!”

They sit and think exactly what you (probably) thought: “What a fucking dumbass, if he thinks anyone believes his ‘nope, wasn’t me!’”

It’s not like a court of law or trial where you can prove anything conclusively anyways, so there is only one way a really confrontational interview could have gone.

The next day Jones explained his soft approach and assured his viewers he's looking into Yaniv in a big way. Jones is angry and disgusted at Yaniv. There's a vid in the other AJ thread.

I'm not sure why he claims it's not easy to get hormones. I'm detransitioned and getting on hormones in 2016 was as easy as going to planned parenthood and signing an informed consent release (for testosterone). 20 minutes top. TBF I'm an American though, but since its even easier in Canada to change your legal sex I'd imagine it's somehow quicker to get on hormones and shit there. Definitely cheaper probably. It feels like the only real gatekeeping here now is just the cost of hormones and surgery and there's been a lot of progress towards getting that as cheap as possible. (And yes, I know this is old news now but it bugged me.)
