In B4 a doctor telling a transwoman they need a prostate exam suddenly becomes "Transphobic".His definition of primary and secondary sex characteristics is also incorrect. He states that chromosomal assignment is the primary indicator and genitalia are the secondary. While the process of gonad formation is dependent on the chromosomes present, the resulting genitalia are also considered a primary sex characteristic. Secondary characteristics are the changes and developments to the genitalia and body and are influenced by the hormones present during puberty. JY is fully biologically male, regardless of whether he is currently on HRT or not.
If the string of lies about medical conditions continues, I strongly believe that JY is going to try and sue a paramedic for malpractice. If he IDs himself as female to canuck 911, those poor medics are either going to be walking on eggshells to avoid a discrimination suit or treating him as they would a female patient and risking malpractice suits. It's no different than people who lie about medical diagnoses and cannot receive proper treatment because of the medics' concerns of medication interference. Name changes are slightly more forgiving from a medical standpoint if every document has been converted to the new name and the patient's contacts are aware of the new name.
