He's truly retarded for trying to copy a scam which was already rejected by the Alberta HRC as an imposition on the rights of the parent, a decision that was confirmed all the way up to the Canadian Supreme Court.
Obviously the BC HRC could decide differently, but if the actual courts didn't see a Charter violation in the first instance, it seems like a pretty poor strategic decision to try and pull the same scam in BC. If you assume that he's in it for the $, rather than for infamy or the off chance of finding some extremely irresponsible parents.

I could be wrong on this, but I am pretty sure that the BC HRT is more or less required to follow the higher court precedents in such matters. They aren’t an actual Judicial body.
That doesn't stop them from trying.
I've been looking into the Alberta case a bit further, and it's a little concerning in regards Yaniv's latest attack, because:
- The Alberta perp has been allowed by the Alberta HRC to file another case which is essentially exactly the same as his two-year old one, that was first ruled against him by the Alberta HRC, and then dismissed by a succession of actual courts going up to the Supreme Court. That suggests that even in Alberta, these harassment campaigns by creepy men who want access to young children will continue to be enabled.
- While there are federal laws in Canada against hurty words and big meany behaviour, the state HRC/HRTs operate under state anti-hurty words and big meany laws, not the federal ones. As such, a precedent set in the Alberta HRC probably has no bearing on the BC HRT. Even though, obviously, you should be able to protect your kids from being molested by weird perverts, and the Charter should in theory allow you to do so, there have been a number of highly questionable restrictions imposed on people who try to protect their kids regardless of the Charter.
But would not a precedent set in the higher federal court apply to both? Granted the Canadian Supreme Court likely did not rule on anything in the babysitting case. They probably simply elected not to hear the case and let the lower court ruling stand. Which might not set a concrete precedent on an issue. (But it sure as shit makes for an easily referenced and applied prior case.)
The real master plan is JY will sue all the people who turned him down for not having handicap access to all floors in their home.

A decision by the Alta. HRC is not binding upon the BC HRT and vice-versa, however they can consider each other's decisions to be persuasive and use that. And since the Alta. HRC already ignored the ruling from a higher court (which is binding) on a similar case brought by the same man (James Cyrynowski) and accepted his case yet again, I believe they'd grasp at straws for as long as they're able to.

At the risk of seeming Mad at the Internet and/or rolling right off the topic and into the ditch, this is what I fucking hate about the tolerant left.
An overwhelming majority of pedos are men. Pedos often engage in behavior that normal men don't engage in because pedos are thinking with their dicks and things like common sense and a healthy sense of self-preservation have gone out the window.
If they think of children as their potential relationship partners, it makes sense that they would invest as much energy into fucking kids as normal people put into normal relationships.
