To be fair, Canada is a colonial vestige much like Hong Kong that should have been returned to the rightful continental power. It's high time Canada was decolonized and replaced the queen with Trump.

MLA (member of legislative Assembly) is local represnetive in provincial legislative body. MP (member of Parliament) is local represntitive in federal legislative body. Canada has a senate but is going to be different than you think of a senate, it's more of a sanity check than anything else and not elected.
Christ I'm learning so much about Canada. Ok in at least one other province it's MPP for Member of Provincial Parliament and MP for Member of Parliament (federal). I've never heard of an MLA.

I still say the Liberals won't nominate him, even as a paper candidate for an unwinnable seat - his only shot at even being on a general election ballot is running as an independent, or potentially as a member of a minor party (not sure if Canada's Green Party is as retarded as the United States', but if so, Tamponathan may be hitting up Elizabeth May soon).

Once you get away from the coast things start to get a bit more sane. There's still many pockets of hippies here and there which obviously lean left, but as you move towards the interior, and especially heading north, you'll find communities that are far more conservative. Hell, there's still some places in the Provence that could almost be considered sundown towns for certain groups. But since the majority of the population lives near the US border and on the coast they have the loudest voices. Up north people are closer to Albertains than most BC'ers when it comes to political ideology imo.

I was going to say that I feel like there may be a vast spectrum of political belief between Prime Minister Yaniv and Sundown Towns for Brown People, but then I remembered that Yaniv's platform is probably based on Sundown Towns for Brown People. Libs and NDP can vote for someone who is a brave and stunning Trans woman. Conservatives can vote on banning brown people. Yaniv truly is the candidate for eveyone. Except brown people.
