Predictions have come true. jonny's worked hard the last few weeks with claims of "fearing for his life" (more so than normal) I'll be gutted if the judge believes his never-ending BS, however, I'm hoping common sense and a good BS radar is on the table.




A few have, myself included, he's as predictable as hell. He's baited and trolled 24/7 for the response he needed. Fortunately, this isn't the BCHRT and (hopefully) his BS and behaviour (and that of his mother) won't be tolerated. I so hope this freak can't get decent legal aid and he displays the same attitude as shown in the BCHRT, court lawyers who will give his head a wobble.

Just waiting for the suicide threats to be sent to this judge.

Keep hoping. The people of British Columbia aren't known for making sound decisions.

tbf that's true of many, many municipal governments. Yet the inaction on Yaniv really only leaves two possibilities for me to ponder, as a non-canuck. First, that they are building something and don't want to compromise the deal. Second, they are fucking useless in every sense of the word.

I have to lean towards the second because I honestly don't think Jonathan would be involved in anything big enough to warrant delay for investigation. What kind of idiot would get involved with any shady dealing with someone as fucking stupid and obvious as Jonathan? I guess pedos are often stupid but this would be a new brand of dumb criminal.

It's the second. Government doesn't work in Canada, and that's where our best and brightest find employment. Also, virtue signalling is more important than justice in Canada.

I'd like to think that the majority of Canadians would be outraged over JY getting a pass for this behavior if the Canadian press would actually report on it. As long as the media steers clear of it, authorities will decline to do anything.

We elected Trudeau twice. "People" like Yaniv are heroes to the common Canadian.

Any time you need to speculate about how Canadians feel about something, just ask yourself what position the Salon article or Vice News would take, and that's it.

On a side note, it appears that an unnamed section of the BC Gov subnet was doing some background on Yaniv, reports that they were observed searching Bing from their Win7 machines. Not sure on specifics, but the autists who were creeping their traffic said they were searching with Bing for very loose terms like 'YANIV, J', found their site, and passed it off to a supervisor.

Yes, just received confirmation from the Surrey registry that YANIV, JESSICA Jonathan has two applications scheduled for Feb 5th at 0930H in SUR #310. Files #237804 and #237805. Looks like a repeat of last time, they're booking it two slots to accommodate the wide load. It looks like they modified the entry at some point in the space between samples.

While it's one's right to offer no-comment to the news, I'm fairly certain the rules of evidence require disclosure to the court and other party prior to presenting and arguing said evidence and facts.

I had literally made popcorn only to find out the court secretly moved his appearance to 9am. Pretty bummed.

No word yet on what the disposition was this morning. *Edited to add per the court website the next appearance has the reason listed as "FXD" which means the reason for it is to set a trial date. Hopefully this means we will get to see JYs legal chops in a real court soon!* His next appearance on the weapons charges is Feb 26th.

Technically, the 14th as that was the date reported by Keean Bexte for the first appearance on the assault charge.
