Filipino BBQ is another foreign favorite.

Filipino food is the shit. I don't know why people disparage it; I've never tried a Filipino food I haven't loved.

My city has tons of awesome authentic restaurants from all over Asia (esp. Burmese) but no Filipino food at all. It's depressing. Luckily I get to "real" cities (there's only two ofc, NYC and LA) often enough to get my fix. F.O.B. Brooklyn is always my #1 stop when I am there.

It's peruvian roast chicken with green sauce and a side of rice and beans soaked in chicken grease. there is nothing even close.
