This topic came up briefly in the chat earlier today, about people talking about when their first kiss was. So do any of you kiwi's wish to talk about your first kisses?

My "un-official" first kiss: When I was 8 years old, me and a girl on my block who were really close, best friends, were playing together one summer when we kinda pulled a "My Girl", in which we just said "Hmm, I wonder what kissing really feels like. Why don't we try it and see how it is!"

We basically did about three-four little smushy pecks on the lips, that was about it.

My "official" first kiss (as in a prolonged one/making out/etc): When I was 14 years old. A friend of mine set up a double date with two girls he knew. I didn't know my date, so it was a blind date for me. The four of us went to the movies, and me and my date just kinda hit it off really well, so midway through the movie we just started to kiss and slightly make out.

I was 14 and DJing at the Christmas party for the pub I was working at the time. One of the girls who worked there, who was 10 years older than me, pregnant and looked like Pixyteri asked me for a Christmas kiss whilst wasted, so I politely moved my cheek towards her. She grabbed the back of my head, forced her tongue down my throat and then threw up.

I haven't been kissed since.

He was a stranger, the kiss was really squicky and lasted about three seconds on my part before I was like "no". He kept going with it, however, and I think I was even talking while he still kissed me. It was...well, sexy is not the word I would use for it. Ever.

now the real thing didn't happen until sophomore year.
I was working volunteer at a haunted house as a mad doctor guy.
We had two new volunteers who came out of nowhere and somehow we got along.
It must have been the atmosphere or the teenage hormones but 20 minutes later I found myself already making out with with one of the volunteers and reaching second base.
She ended up hating me the next day because she saw a facebook post I made regarding how I don't support Obama.

Many many second chances and backhandings and "I reject your reality and substitute my own" (completely verbatim and lifted from mythbusters) later , I ended it about three years too late. That's another thread for a time and another place though.

one of the events that started to snap me out of it was during an argument about why I always had to drive to him. It was a 45 minute drive so it wasn't too spectacular, but it was always me. He demanded to know of *important* events that happened where I lived and I told him of a massive fire in the early 90s that set the standard for the standardization of radio frequencies and fire hose connections and all that wonderful logistical stuff.
"That didn't happen. You're making it up."
The moment of clarity hit me like a sack of bricks. He would utterly deny something and twist it in his favor. In my mind's eye I saw the newspapers that my dad had clipped and saved articles from that detailed the fire. I knew people who lost their homes in the fire. My paternal grandparents donated acorns from an oak tree to aid in the replanting of native trees that didn't turn into incendiary grenades when on fire. And I knew the anxiety my family knew when a grassfire would break out in our neighborhood.

oh and I also realized what an absolute shit my now ex was.

tl;dr THE OAKLAND HILLS FIRE DIDN'T HAPPEN. WE WERE ALWAYS AT WAR WITH EASTASIA.

I can remember sharing gum with my friends to get attention from boys. lol

First kiss was some kind of game on a school camp when i was about 14, it wasn't spin the bottle but it was something that involved awkward kisses.
Real first kiss was after a date at McDonalds a year or so later.

My first kiss came in my driveway when I was 14. My other 2 friends that wanted to date her were not amused. I ended up dating her for basically 10 years, with a couple breakups in the mix that only lasted a few months.

I remember being around 8 or 9 and my next door neighbors were playing Mario Party 3 with me. I was able to win a few games and the sister actually came up to kiss me on the cheek as a way of congratulating me. At the time, I kinda took it the wrong way and started to develop a crush on her. But that's a story for another day.

If it doesn't, then I'm not sure. I remember this one time I was really young and decided to be a little asshole and randomly kiss other kids on the lips. I think it was because I saw Bugs Bunny do that a lot in his cartoons, so I decided to imitate that. I probably kissed a few girls during that time, but they were unwilling.

Younger me was an absolute sperg.

As of now, I haven't really kissed a girl in a romantic sense.

Hopefully that changes as I'm pushing myself a bit more to talk to girls via dating websites.
