I haven't seen a thread like this, so post anything you want to share, high scores, speedruns, 1CC runs, you name it.

1CC'd games:

Battle Circuit (Arcade, Hardest Difficulty with Cyber Blue.)
Vampire Savior (Arcade, Normal Difficulty with Felicia. Of the three times I 1CC'd it 2 of them involved the hidden fight with Morrigan)
Undercover Cops (Arcade, Japanese version, Normal difficulty with Rosa)
Darius (Arcade, Normal Difficulty)
R-Type (Arcade, Normal Difficulty)

Also, from Battle Circuit, my personal fastest time against the final boss:

I got all A+ ratings on every stage of Hotline Miami. I was pretty proud of that until Hotline Miami 2 came out.

I can go through Contra (NES/FC) on a single life. Most I've looped is three times, I think.

A billion years ago when they put out Super Mario All-Stars they had a thing where if you got to World 9 in x amount of time after the game came out you got a free patch. I still have mine.

I used to be pretty good at DDR, like, 9 foot songs and stuff. Then I moved to apts that were upstairs so I couldn't practice at home anymore.

Most recent one I can think of is beating all the dark world levels (minus the bonus world where you played as Bandage Girl because fuck that) in Super Meat Boy.

I think I spent the better part of an hour trying to get through the last boss.

As far as I remember with gaming accomplishments, it took me a single continue to beat House of the Dead. Had I been a bit quicker, it would of been a no death run.

I managed to beat Ikaruga and this obscure shmup called Final Boss without using a single credit, and I got both of them on video too: (Ikaruga, Final Boss)

One time I also managed to get 666 points in the ninja star minigame from Kirby Returns to Dreamland.

The only memorable one I can think of is unlocking Recon Armor for Halo 3 after beating all of the Recon challenges. Fuck, that was so satisfying. Playing with a group of friends, struggling to get through the Firefight/Campaign levels, that amazing feeling when we finally beat the last challenge. It might seem a little dumb now because it was just some ninja armor for multiplayer and everyone probably has it now, but it was cool as fuck back then. Recon Armor was this unobtainable thing that only the lucky players or devs were rewarded. Then all of the sudden, people got a chance to get it by completing hard as fuck challenges. It didn't feel like it lost its "cool" status because the challenges were genuinely difficult and took a LOT of effort.

I have never once lost to Whitney in pokemon gold/silver. When I was a kid and I saw that she used rollout constantly I just used moves that lowered accuracy to basically cripple her and beat the shit out of her.

I actually unlocked the lost in the binding of isaac rebirth and beat mega satan as him. I mean granted I cheated and used dads key to unlock the door to mega satan but the rest of that shit was all me.

I beat Ascendancy (a 4X game from 1995) on the highest difficulty settings (Hostile atmosphere, Very Dense galaxy, 7 species) with all 27 species. I've also beaten the game on those settings with the Antagonizer mod (which gives other species boosts to research and construction and makes them hate you almost exclusively) with about half of the species.

I never lost to Xion on the next-to-last day or Riku on the final day in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, no matter the difficulty, for some reason.

Here's another.

I was playing Captain Falcon's story mode in F-Zero GX and was playing on Stage 7 in Very Hard mode. I was doing good and was approaching the finish line in second place. In an attempt to catch up, I decided to hit those mines on the left for a speed boost in an attempt to pass him up. Fearing I wouldn't pass him in time, I tried to pause the game and quit, but it was too late, I passed the finish line...

...in first place. I literally dropped to the floor in amazement when I heard mission complete.

In 1999 Metal Gear Solid was released. Every game magazine in my country went nuts about it. Lots and lots of guides, tips, secrets and easter eggs. Those were the dark years because no internets. And I discovered this by accident:

I was amazed: no magazine published such easter egg. And I couldn't stop laughing.

Medieval Warfare.

In the fields there was a battle, where I was the last of three men standing, one of which was my Brother and an enemy Knight. I was biding my time to heal, knowing I could escape the Knight's strikes if timed correctly as my brother took down the second last enemy unit and went to attack the Knight, My brother was flailed to death in front of me by the Knight, who quickly set his sights on me.

It was a tense moment, everyone waiting to see who would be the victor and claim glory for the teams. Everyone was watching me, and I knew it. This knight had his eyes set on me and started charging towards me, circling.

In the back of my skull I was thinking about my death, knowing that it would be futile in the end; I was certain I was going to die so I'd rather try to do something challenging I took the knight on without my weapon, going for melee rather than using my pike for a more honourable death.

I hit the knight, he swings and misses me, I get a good number of punches onto him while he's swinging around until BAM, I got him down on the floor with my steeled fists. I win the match, my brother cheers me on as the rest of the team celebrates. I become king in the last round and I am treated as such.

As far as memory serves, I managed to beat the Elite 4 and Lance in Pokemon Silver with only a Feraligatr and two weak pokemon used as a stopgap between reviving said Feraligatr and losing. After many tries, I beaten Lance and gotten the ending.

Whilst playing on the hardest difficulty, I got a Pure Platinum (aka no damage) medal for the final boss fight against Jeanne in Bayonetta. When I first played the game I used to have a lot of trouble with this fight, so yeah, it was kind of a shock.

There's also the first time I beat Sinspawn Gui in Final Fantasy X. Being the geniuses that we were, my brother and I had completely neglected to use the Sphere Grid. As a result, all our characters were hilariously underleveled and kept getting KO'd. We eventually got lucky one day (don't ask me how), and it was the biggest of reliefs. Not so much an accomplishment as it was a wake-up call to start using the damn Sphere Grid.

I got every single dog tag in Metal Gear Solid 2 and Substance.
Plus I discovered that glitch that makes you go through the floor by accident.
