I can say from personal experience that if you tell him something he doesn't want to hear, he will immediately go off and accuse you of "constantly" trolling him and criticizing him. He also has this bizarre idea that YouTube Poop is a good place to talk about how he's a trans woman (or at least wants to be), that YouTube Poop is his personal life and therefore everybody needs to know that this faceless, nameless internet entity wants to be a woman (even though his gender was completely unknown on the internet until then).
Fun fact: he apparently made an oddly dark video of SpongeBob and Patrick coordinating 9/11, and spent a day crying and complaining online that his parents wouldn't let him wear a dress in public, all in the same week.
Stuff like this doesn't even feel like YTP to me. I've always understood "YouTube Poop" to mean a bunch of nonsensical bullshit strung together in Windows Movie Maker with a "SPAGHETTI" or "PINGAS" every five seconds. The videos that OrpheusFTW, DurhamRockerZ, and the other "good" editors create feels like it's not even in the same league as YTP -- they're like an extension of remix culture.
It's what the people latched on to because people like WalrusGuy was doing it, and never looked back on.
Yeah, the guy comes across as someone who needs massive amounts of psychiatric help, and I've only seen some of his/her videos.
I was under the assumption that the usage of "Spaghetti", "Pingas", ect. eventually went out of style and was considered lazy by other YTPers. Sure, they still pop up once or twice in some vids, but not nearly as much as they used to.

I fucking love YouTube Poop. It's possible to like a work of art AND despise the author (I only watched the stuff and didn't interact with the authors much).
I went back and reread what I found and there was one YouChew mention, so it was tied to that somewhat, but it seemed to cover more than that site alone, so I was conflicted with what I wanted to do. I wouldn't care if this was merged.
I wouldn't really call DBS a YTP'er. The two YTP's he did make are definitely among the best I've ever seen, but he's got a far stronger foundation in the GMod scene. Not that the styles of humour differ all that much, but, you know.

Oh boy, him. Back during the MME era, I looked into MoBrosStudios because of that. Apparently, a few years back, he made lists about the worst Spongebob episodes, featuring his Mario recolor. People kept asking and were anticipating a few more videos about Spongebob he announced, but he abruptly canceled them, saying that he wanted to focus on YTP. Now, he just has a huge ego from what I can gather. He's also a Creepypasta fan and a ponyfag, so make of that what you will.
Also, I suggest that we keep the discussion related to the community, not your opinions on certain videos. Also, YouChew fags GTFO.

Another former forum guy here. The best way I can describe JewChew I mean YouChew is that it's basically proto-tumblr, and yes, that is before tumblr itself became a common fixture on our humble internet dailyspeak.
The forum's obsession over a video remixing fad that has been dead since 2009 isn't even the biggest problem with that place. Personally, I can't think of any other place that is more chock-full of bile and hatred than YouChew; the list compiled by Jumping Dwarf are only the tip of the iceberg as far as that soulless husk of an echo chamber is concerned.
In fact, most individuals within the youtube poop community, regardless of whether they're YC members or not, are less known for their video editing "talent" and more known for their obsessive hiveminding and phony sense of victimhood over the most mundane of things, but I'm getting way ahead of myself. For this post, I'll limit myself to just addressing YouChew.
YC has a loooooooong history of burying harassment complaints against it's 'veterans' and mods and admins alike. Suffice to say, the forum has an irrational hatred of collective criticism of any kind, and even the higher ups won't hesitate to sissy fight each other as soon as they detect any sort of opinion dissent.
RepQuest is correct in stating that Rokto/Tom was only banned because he was power hungry. It's also worth mentioning that he also mocked Malk's long deceased mother during the same last.fm incident, and that Raddock has been consistently harassing the dude for the longest time as well.
For the sake of putting my two cents on the Oz topic, I'll just make it clear that Dopply was the one who kickstarted the whole mess by essentially hiring Oz to do the maintenance in the forum, and the staff essentially awarded Oz with admin as soon as the latter became YC's sugardaddy. That and Oz actually didn't have much to do with 'turning the members against each other' or whatever Orwellian excuse they currently have in place; that was entirely the staff and userbase' fault due to their consistent paranoia and a general sense of distrust and dysfunction that hasn't been and never will be sorted out.
Did I mention userbase? Yeah, just about most of them are lolcowzy enough to earn their own individual KiwiFarm threads, and that's still putting it lightly.
The gist of all of this is that YouChew is a collection of smaller, hugboxey cliques who are or were connected to the site in some form in another, and they all compete with each other to see which one is the biggest special snowflake. As far as I'm concerned, YC has long ceased to be about circlejerking about dated CD-i and DiC jokes. The remaining userbase is fixated on only feigning perpetual aggrievement at anything and anyone, and sadly, this also applies to at least half of the ex-members.

Yeah, the bitterness was definitely there before Tumblr became a major thing, but the intolerant SJ shit didn't start there until they all got Tumblrs.
