The difference is, Dick actually has a big enough fanbase to get a thread and any kind of discussion outside of his subreddit and paypig zones, so the goss is able to leak out where he can't control it.

Rocco went way out of his way to hide all of that, and silence anyone who brought it up wherever he can control comments. He shadowbans commenters on his YouTube channels and subreddit, and nobody cares enough about Mega64 elsewhere to bring it up. Mega64's fanbase is a small, loyal group of SJW paypigs, so they've got a Lowtax pre-2020 situation going on where everyone looks the other way unless Rocco ever does something big enough that they can't ignore.

Dan Bell (guy who did/does abandoned exploration, dead malls, etc.) has been embarrassing himself acting like a thin-skinned little bitch on Twitter for years. The fact that I was heavily involved in the whole dead malls/historic retail community back in the late 2000s/early 2010s and doesn't ring a bell today really suggests he just latched on to begin with.

Like any Internet-based special interest, there's egos, assholes, and terminal autism, but for the most part people shared each others' websites and didn't act like the end-all be-all of the "fandom".

That's pa retty good candidate. I've like some his content, like his review of Shenmue 3 and the video on Simpsons memes, but he does have that weird breathy cadence where he delievers very goddamn sentence as a shocking new revelation. It also clear that he had some lefty sympathies, IIRC.

Also, he has fucking furry avatar, which is never a good sign. Although, honestly, breadtube is probably better than furfaggotry, since at most a breadtuber will do is 41 themselves and not rape a puppy to death.

I don't know about that, since I don't think anybody there has made themselves a fool on the Internet, a key part of being a lolcow. It why when he reuploaded all of his videos he had such weird descriptions before he changed it to "I like Pringles," and shit like that.
