Youtube has obviously been in hot water from removing annotations because of the mobile app not supporting them, the Ad-Pocalpyse, outright admittance of censoring, blacklisting, and removing certain features from the site such as being able to subscribe and be alerted of a channel's new uploads, and much more within the last year, but there's been more such as false DMCAs in 2009, breaches and hacks that made high viewed channels lose their channel, videos, etc., and of course, the common problem, people losing their subscribers.
Now, Youtube tries to pull a Wendy's, but ends up pulling a Gamestop, trying to make a tweet that badmouths them rightfully, but ends up getting them no good boy points and makes them look like the usual Trump tweet.
Upon this tweet came this reply, and Youtube's
As of writing this, more people have liked the tweet by Ian Conery who seems to have this as his only claim to fame, than either of these tweets. That, and having Youtube's response, "and yet you follow us" deleted.
Another gem. A guy says whoever is running Youtube's Twitter should be fired, with a response of "disagree." 280+ replies vs 5.2k likes.
Imagine talking about the pay gap when there's a literal pay gap in your system, and people are so fed up that you think you can do no wrong.
