Don't worry, you are not alone in this. The reason why so many people have disdain for this guy is because he truly was a miserable, bitter, entitled, biased POS who was horrendous to so many people on a one on one basis. This is why there has been such an outpouring of "press S" when this was announced in different places, which is something I've honeslty never witnessed before on the internet. You can bet if this happened to people he considered enemies his reaction would have been the same as his comments on TotalBiscuit. That's how he viewed the world encapsulated in that tweet. He was a POS for so long many people have years or even deacades of negative memories of him. The only thing I will say in addition to this is that his smarmy cohorts at anime fake news are just as bad if not worse in many cases.
