All true, this. I’ve found, for that matter, multiple occasions Where Furrys with a bad reputation will question criticism that comes as early as a year later by saying “why would anyone ever talk about that? That was so long ago!” And pretty much everyone they know just goes with that.

Also, it goes without saying (and others have said here multiple times) that if they’re an artist, they are impregnable. I found artists doing shitty things of magnitude great and small, but Furrys will not permit anything that causes an interruption in the flow of their self insert porn.

I’ve found that the more egregious the offenses of some popular dipshit are, the more aggressive their defenders will be, and if you dig around in to said defenders closets you find very similar skeletons to the one they’re defending. I remember that from aaaaages ago. She and him had art of him impregnating her character and after a while she was so disgusted with him and the idea of him knocking up her OC made her want to sell the character and all art associated with it. I don’t pay attention beyond a cursory glance to drama from these communities so I have no idea what happened after that but it’s a thing that happened.

I saw this on Twitter earlier but the image failed to load.
