Zayn Zaki came to our notice through Kylie Brooks and The Polyamory Group. Had she been a little smarter she might not have drawn our attention. But Zayn needs to be heard. She craves attention and power. If there is a thread that is full of drama or someone needs chastising, she will be there with a paragraph of self-righteous fury.
Born in Virginia, Zayn attended William & Mary college focusing on Gender, Sexuality & Women's Studies until abruptly dropping out due to “depression”. After her mother’s death, and with an abusive father, she left her home for Seattle, Washington in August of 2014. This move enabled her to move in with her unemployed internet boyfriend Tyro despite neither having an income outside of welfare and food stamps. She is a body positive obese athematic who has spent entire summers sitting on the couch eating peanut butter even though she cannot walk a half mile without becoming crippled. Zayn appears to have been singularly employed at Feminspire [archive], writing a dozen or so articles over the course of nine months before suddenly quitting.
She has never had a true understanding of relationships or romance. Her obsession with rules, identities, and black/white scenarios could stem from her fauxtism or a simple desire to control. In the past she has attempted to define a romance as “emotional pleasure chemicals [in the] brain”, defining human emotions as some kind of tangible concept. Her lack of understanding carries over to many other subjects, including trans men being sexist by default, how only her sensitivity matters, thinking the term “cis” is stupid erases her trans identity, and why all her friends tell her to shut up about social justice. While she has many “relationships”, the majority seem to be online only. Outside of her boyfriend Tyro she has never had consistent partners despite never-endingly discussing all the people she tries to pick up on OKCupid.
As far back as January of 2012 [archive], Zayn was on Tumblr honing her views on oppression and social justice. But in 2014, Zayn appeared to lose her bearings on reality. She has claimed for years that she suffers from DID, a diagnosis that is almost never issued, not accepted, and does not present itself in the ways that Tumblrites claim. She began making Facebook pages for her DID headmates, the first of which was Michael Alex Anders, though she quickly expanded her character list to Rocky, Alex, James, Danny, Dani?, and Michael. Because she is scared of going outside and unemployed, she will spend her time offline watching movies and coloring with them. Zayn has claimed before that she is “transgendered”, though there is no evidence to support this except for her need for attention. She also claims to have generalized anxiety, major depression, and a score of other mental illnesses that are difficult to verify. These illnesses make it “difficult for her to go out alone”, leaving her a bitter, overweight shut-in.
Zayne’s most recent endeavor is rejoining the staff of The Polyamory Group and helping Kylie moderate. Though we are still investigating the full reason, it is assumed the stress of being a moderator caused Zayn to briefly leave the group. Emotionally recharged, she returned to duty in August of 2015, and has commented extensively on nearly everything posted to the group since.
She has written tens of thousands of posts for half a decade across Tumblr and Facebook alone. While I am focusing solely on Facebook, I encourage others to look into this vast catalog. Moderators, if you feel that Zayn is too far removed from the focus of ADF, please move this to somewhere more appropriate.
