People have really inaccurate ideas about how medical debt works in the USA. A lot of this is just political or comes from social justice dangerhairs on Twitter. A hospital will never throw you out for lifesaving treatment because that is literally illegal. They HAVE to treat you by law. If actually you're poor and get a massive medical debt, then you can usually ignore it safely, because the worst they will do is send you letters or send some outsourced to Mexico debt-collection telemarketer after you.Nigga what? Are you European or something? No bankruptcy judge is going to look a girl with multiple heart attacks, no job, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical debit and be like "lol nah you still have to pay that back". DSP wasn't lucky because he got most of his debts discharge, he was lucky because he got his debt discharged DESPITE being able to pay and any amount of basic digging would have revealed that. As for medicaid denying her or not paying for heat surgery, no, that doesn't happen and she far exceeds the eligibilityfor any state or federal assistance. Especially as @MirnaMinkoff pointed out if you have disability you get Medicaid, they pretty much go hand in hand. Bitch is lying.
Most of the people who are fucked are either middle class who are legitimately being screwed by Obamacare's shitty income-based system (because that's a thing,) or they're dangerhairs and troons who want psych therapy without having to work a job, or want health insurance to cover SRS. Some younger people are legitimate retards who think it's a crime that they should pay $100 to see a doctor every few years for a physical.
By the way, if Nacho couldn't get Medicaid, she should have qualified for free, like completely free Gold-level Obamacare, now that I think about it...
