So the whole crux of the issue is this Uncle Bob guy that the dev mentioned, though when I looked up what he was cancelled for really the only things that came up were a tweet about how defunding police is a bad idea and something he said about women in code. Are boomer opinions something to get this upset about? The dude isn't some nobody either, Uncle Bob is a pretty highly regarded codemonkey and programmer.
You guys should check out the steam forum for the game, it's full of shitposting or everyone telling pronoun fagolas to fuck off

Look, I know that this man is epic and based but let's not pretend that FNAF's success is anything but him winning the children's attention lottery with a shitty babby's first scary game.
Of course, Notch also won the very same lottery and did it harder than anyone in the industry could ever dream of, but at least there's (used to be) a real talented programmer hidden underneath those 50 layers of fat, laziness and vacation meals. And his game also used to be genuinely fun back when it showed some promise.
