I was surprised to hear that there was some sort of “drama” between XQC and other streamers about Toxicity. It was really entertaining to watch them bicker and get mad tbh.

XQC has had that problem since he started with competitive Overwatch. Despite being able to quickly master games and having a huge viewerbase to provide potential clout, he's such an insufferable manchild that most streamers understandably want nothing to do with him after playing with him for a only a few games. The dude is so desperate for validation that he acts like this party game has a fucking Elo ranking system, and is such a bad sport that he autistically screeches over everyone else's ggs with braindead salt in the post-game lobbies. He completely ruins every game he's in, and he's so bad that I find myself having to leave videos from other streamers early since he just derails the discussions and votes because he's an obnoxious control freak.

He's like the cunt randoms that I'll personally mute on the Discord VC when I'm playing the game myself, and it'll sometimes cascade with other players personally muting them too after they ask how I can calmly talk over a toxic asshole like it's nothing.

I've been playing this game for the past few weeks or so. It's very addictive and fun to play. There's this sort of simplicity to it that really makes it shine. First off:

1. It has the aesthetics of a Newgrounds game with better graphics of course, so it has that early internet flare going for it.
2. It's mostly played by edgelords and based boys, so people call each other fags and retards and shit.
3. Accusing other people without any basis is entertaining as fuck.
4. The intensity of the game gives a good amount of challenge as well as the brain exercises when it comes to accusing whodunnit and whodidnotdunnit.

It's a pretty fun game. Even if the tasks are rather simplistic or whatnot, it really captures your attention in some ways.

Fun fact: the reason for that is because the game was actually developed by PuffballsUnited, who's most well-known for creating the Henry Stickmin games on Newgrounds/Stickpage. If you look around in some of the tasks, you'll actually find a ton of Easter eggs that are referencing things in the games. Hell, some of the pets and cosmetics are quite literally the characters and their facial features respectively ripped straight from the series.

EDIT: Disc actually went a bit more into why this helped give the game traction.

The biggest co-growth factor is the Henry Stickmin Collection, which was a dramatic finale to one of the dev's earliest game series and will be seen by many as Flash's swansong. It's also the one of the most streamlined, fast, lively, and customizable mafia-esque games available.
